I would give 5 star because it worked very smooth and zero issues till now. Just make sure you are using correctly otherwise you would blow the power outlet.

The media could not be loaded. The Yinleader 500W voltage transformer has been a solid addition to my setup. I use it to safely power 220V appliances from a 110V outlet and vice versa. The step up/down function works flawlessly, and the unit handles consistent power without overheating. It’s clearly built with quality in mind, and the compact design makes it easy to store or carry when needed.The US power cord is a nice bonus, and the build feels sturdy enough for long-term use. I tested it with several electronics, including kitchen and audio equipment, and everything ran smoothly. A reliable choice if you need to convert voltage for international devices or travel.

I actually had to order this twice as the first one had an issue with the 100V plug portion. There was a piece of bent metal that was hindering the plug to plug in.But, I decided to give it a try again and performed an exchange and all is well. I am going to chalk that one up to just a manufacturing defect which I understand does happen.Now that I have one that is fine, I will say this is a well built unit. It's heavy, and it works. I am using it for old vintage computers. I have tested a 240V European power supply from an Amiga and a MSX from Japan with 100V, and they work perfectly.500W was actually overkill for my needs, but it was cheaper to buy this with both types of connections available than buy something else.Very happy with the purchase!

Bought to adjust from 110v to 220v. It is quiet and works very well.The only one star loss is because it is a little heavy. I prefer 4.5/5 if there exists half stars .

So I ordered a used piece of pro audio gear from Germany. I knew the unit I was receiving had an EU chord so no surprise there. I thought I would get ahead of the curve, jump on ebay and order the proper AC chord to be able to plug it in here at my house in the USA. Hmm.....not so easy. I learned a lesson here. Luckily nothing was damaged. So, just because I provided a chord that now fits in an outlet in my house in the USA, doesn't mean I provided the proper voltage required to power the unit. Plain and simple, the unit needs 230v to function properly. So no matter where I plug the unit in anywhere in any house in the USA, the unit is only getting 110v. It was behaving like a guitar pedal that needs 18v and is plugged in a 9v slot of the power supply. That's what basically tipped me off as to what the issue was...Enter Yinleader 500W Voltage Transformer Power Converter. That's it. Plugged the Yinleader 500W Voltage Transformer Power Converter into the outlet in my house and then plugged the pro audio unit with the EU chord into the coverter, turned both the converter and the unit on and it powered up properly. I couldn't have been happier. It's dead silent too. Worth every cent.

Beware! We used this item for 8 months and it just stopped working. It suddenly needed us to daily push the button on the back to reset it, and then it just wouldn't work anymore. We had a transformer that lasted for years and years that we had to give away when we left our last country... so it was really disappointing that this one only lasted 8 months.

Tengo varios aparatos que traje de Inglaterra y la verdad era un dolor de cabeza ver como conectarlos (tanto por los enchufes como por el voltaje). Este aparato es pequeño y versátil. No es muy ruidoso y permite cambiar de voltajes sin mayor problema. Lo tengo conectado a aparatos de sonido que consumen un buen nivel de electricidad y no ha presentado detalles de desempeño en entregar el voltaje adecuado. Es importante checar los niveles de voltaje de los aparatos para asegurarse que reciben el voltaje adecuado, de otra forma se pueden dañar.

The media could not be loaded. Creo los botones de voltajes estan invertidos. Me gustaria contactar con el proveedor. El equipo para lo que lo comprè es 220V y cuando lo pongo en 220 la licuadora no tiene suficiente potencia…. Y si lo pongo en 110V si tiene potencia. Para saber……..
