All of the items that are supposed to handle boiling water are holding up, which is usually my biggest concern when buying things like these online. I used it to make matcha and it made my matcha latte taste better. But, it is not really necessary, unless you are someone like me who makes drinks with it every day and takes time to do it.

I knew I loved matcha lattes, had never gone to the trouble of getting the stuff to make them at home. I don't know why I didn't. Takes a couple of minutes, wonderfully civilized way to start the day, delicious output, and this set is perfect. Bowl is a good size, scoop and seive are great, the whisk is wonderful; the whole thing is beautiful and works great. I'm now having two to three matcha lattes daily.

This is a nice set for beginners and a good value overall. However, the chasen (bamboo wisk) that comes with this set is very poor quality. I properly bloomed it & softened it in hot water before each use & after less than 5 uses it began to shed little splinters. The chawan (ceramic bowl) is a pretty, a good size, & shape that makes it easy throughly wisk & get a decent microfoam. The pour spout on the chawan makes it easier to pour from. I like that the set comes with a bamboo scoop & a sifter to help measure out & remove any clumps from my matcha before wisking. I also like that the set comes with a chasen-tate (bamboo wisk stand) to help prolong the shape & life of your chasen. Too bad that the chasen itself is such low quality. I definitely recommend buying one that is better quality if you plan to make matcha even semi-regularly. Besides the issues with the chasen splintering, this is a good, functional set for a beginner & all the other components of this set should hold up great over time as long as they are properly cares for. Remember to only rinse your bamboo scoop & chasen with water & never use soap!

I love it! I'm new to making my own matcha and this kit has everything you need. The glaze on the bowl is absolutely gorgeous and looks nice sitting out on my countertop. The whisk is effective and mixes the matcha easily. I really love the stand so that the whisk doesn't get too deformed with use. So far I've used it multiple times and I'm really happy with the results. Much better than trying to prepare it with other bowls and utensils that aren't made for it. Highly recommend!

I've been using this matcha set for the past few months, and it's made a huge difference. I used to just mix with a spoon and cup, but having a proper whisk and bowl has really improved both the froth and the flavor of my matcha—surprisingly so! I don’t use the sifter, but the whisk, bowl, and holder are all high-quality and work beautifully. The whisk creates a nice, rich froth every time. Highly recommend this set to anyone who’s serious about their matcha!

Very cute little matcha set! the bowl and sieve and stand are very well made, whisk is bamboo I believe so be gentle on it. comes with an instruction book. the green colour is very pretty, pretty enough to have on display on the counter! if something happened to my current one I would get another one.
