I bought this as a present for my 8yr old daughters birthday and she hasn't taken it off all day. We got 2 for the grandkids to use when playing outside. Screen, video and LED light quality were great. After I ordered I found it came with a SD card to save pics & video. Pretty easy, ages 4 & 8, the kids used the scope on flowers, bugs and things they found in the grass outside. Magnification was great. The price and quality met our expectations. The kids started using the neck strap make it easy to access and use.

Very helpful for looking at things up close! We used it in class to see patterns in rocks, salt, sugar etc. My class was excited to see what things actually looked like when magnified. I would recommend this for anyone wanting to observe things closer.

I like the item itself, but I did not receive anything with it. Not the glass slides, no charging cord, no instruction manual.... nothing. Very disappointed. It was supposed to be a gift for my grandson, but I cannot give him the "kit" that didn't come with the standard items. So very disappointed. Will probably return the item if I can't get everything that was supposed to be in the "kit".Update:Received the replacement kit today. It is perfect!!! The seller/company really did a great job taking care of the problem. Thank you very much

Excellent zoom range, portable and great value
I looked at lots of microscope options for my 9 year old grandson before selecting this one. It’s portable so he can study nature close up, is easy to operate and has the big advantage of being able to take both pictures and videos to upload.I think it is good value for a mid level microscope

Bought this for my 10yr old son and he's really enjoying using this microscope. It's pretty much plug and play and I like that it's portable as it lends itself to more frequent usage. I wanted something to pique his curiosity in science ... though he's mostly looking at the sofa fabric and the dog :-) Though I do expect it will be something he will use for years to come. Very happy with the device and how easy it is to get started.
