This is a pretty good kit — and I say that as a complete newbie. I’ll say these things:✅ this kit comes with JUST the right amount of string you’ll need, so don’t waste it✅ the scissors suck, but at least it comes with some✅ the directions are god awful — use TikTok✅ it’s a blast! Stick with it and you’ll nail the stitches✅ I’d recommend a more beginner-friendly starting pattern like the ones with stitch tutorials as patterns

Bought this as a quick, easy diy gift for her birthday. She absolutely loved it and sent me pictures of each finished pattern. She had some experience but hadn’t done it in years. Her only critique was the green one because the string was really close in color to the background, but it was actually my favorite one she made out of the kit, so make of that what you will. :) Great relaxing gift idea for crafters who want to try something new and easy.
