I just received this grinder today and as you can see there are mostly vine customer reviews on it. This grinder came with all the parts that went together as they should, good quality sign, ha. It is the newer version of this brand, the older version has lots of good purchaser reviews. I ordered this one because I liked the design, the trigger position that also has a lock. I like the power it has and the variable speed adjustment. I also like the adjustable shield and of course the price was right. I checked the build diagram and this one uses real bearings in the motor and gear shaft. Seems to be well built but that remains to be seen as I use it. Just my two cents worth I will update after I use it more.

Used this grinder with a 4 1/2 inch Diamabrush to remove the paint from my 14' x 16' deck, and it worked like a champ. It got a little warm/hot, but I think that's to be expected after 2.5 hours of running on full blast. It was either rent an angle grinder, or buy this one for the same money. Glad I bought it, now I have an angle grinder!

I’ve used this quite a bit since I got it a few months ago. I like the design of it and especially like the variable speed and how versatile that makes the tool. I’d say it’s a pretty great value for the money. One issue I’ve just started having recently, was the variable speed function stopped working completely on a couple of occasions and the speed got stuck on high. Eventually it corrected itself and started working correctly again.

Of the different grinders I own this one is my favorite. High quality motor and easy to switch between various speeds with dial. Expands it's functional uses by allowing slower speeds when in need of more delicate tasks. Size and weight similar to most other grinders on the market. Great value!

Used this quite often over the past year on metal grinding and auto body work. Variable speed works but sometimes goes to max speed, as many have also noted. Found that the speed dial gets dirty, so I just blow it out with the air gun and it's back to normal. Machine could use a better sealed variable speed control.

Works hood on full power but I purchased for variable speed. And when using on variable speed it doesn't have the power,what i mean is on full speed it cuts no issue and motor doesn't bog down, but when trying to cut on slower variable speed it bogs out so bad I could probably cut faster with a hack saw, so unfortunately if you need this for variable speed,purchase another brand

What's with the Discount Charlie switch?
Robust design with ample power. Would have given 5 stars except tp the substandard switch which falls short of doing the grinder justice.

For the price it's a good grinder. Only tested it once. Will update the review if it dies quickly. If the review isn't updated then it's still going
