Received these yesterday and they had 3 crayons already broken in them. If my toddler hadn’t seen them arrive and gone crazy with excitement, I would’ve returned them. However, she’d been waiting patiently for her replacement crayons and I didn’t have the heart to take them back and make her wait even longer, so I guess I’m stuck.

Switching to beeswax crayons was a bit furstrating due to the limitations with color options, and the color payout in general. These beeswax crayons by Kid Made modern is surprisingly vibrant. All the colors look great, and there's 24 of them. Size is easy to hold, and they came pre sharpened. Better for mommy mentality to provide non-toxic safe options. The cardboard can-shaped cannister closes tightly, and keeps crayons in good condition preventing breakage. Not even close to what I was hoping for. I thought they would write really smooth and they don't. Plus they break super easy. I don't recommend getting these.

I was shocked when we used the crayons the colors are not as they say browns are like a dark green and not bright. Greens are like off. If you are looking for correct colors this is not for you.

There are crayons, and there are crayons. These are crayons! I originally ordered these for my toddler aged grandchild as I thought they would be cute. But when my younger adult daughter saw them, she wanted them for herself and I think that was a good choice.Of course these are made for and suitable for children, but they are great for adults too. In fact, I think these could set a new trend in adult coloring to include crayons and not just markers and colored pencils. Of course there are tons of colors and shades, and because they're made of beeswax, only need the lightest touch to color. They are also thin and don't feel chunky and awkward in your hand like a crayon. And that storage case!I didn't realize when ordering, but the rainbow shaped container these crayons come in is also their storage case. It opens and closes with a snap on the side, and the tray of crayons slide out. Amazing! I understand how my daughter felt, I wanted to keep these crayons for myself. I'm not really one for coloring, but these could get me started.Definitely the coolest things I've seen in a long time and well worth the $20 price tag, maybe even a little more. I think they'd also make a great gift for someone who colors no matter what they're age and would bring out the child in just about anyone.
