I think It's because of the orange roller under the black roller. It keeps the tape from rolling back onto itself, while not getting the tape stuck it it itself.HIGHLY Recommend, Even over the the small blue Bolo Basics dispensers.

Good heavy duty packing tape with a solid dispenser. Also it came in a single roll size perfect for a single person or a small family. Didn’t need a dozen rolls so one roll of heavy duty transparent packing tape was perfect for me

Best tape dispenser. Better than those bigger professional looking ones by far.. and no comparison with the little ones..Tape goes in easily, and never gets caught or rolls in on itself. I'm moving and bought a second one. Excellent value!

This heavy-duty packing tape is definitely strong and sticks well—great for sealing boxes for shipping or storage. It’s clear, durable, and gives a nice clean finish.The only reason I’m giving it 4 stars instead of 5 is that the tape frequently pops off the reel while I’m using it. It can be a bit frustrating when you’re trying to tape quickly or efficiently, and the end keeps slipping back onto the roll.

Well priced and worked for my moving needs. Was delivered quickly and in good condition. The tape was strong and fit over the boxes I used.

Thickness is great and the size is appropriate! I really could care less about the noise level of tape, but this certainly is not a noisy one. It does cut relatively easily but as usual, I wish there was more of the product with a lower price.

3.5 stars. I need this for work and personal use. The dispenser is sturdy and the blade is sharp, but the tape doesn't adhere very well. I used it on one of Bolo's ordinary brown shipping envelopes and the tape did not stick as well as my usual brand. I will use this for light jobs, like maybe clasp envelopes and similar,but not shipping. Glad I figured this out before I used this to post legal documents to doors, too because I'm a process server.
