Good flavor but don't rehydrate fast enough for me. I put in boiling water for a few minutes then added ramen. After ramen cooked vegetable flakes slightly crunchy. Ramen cooks in 2-3 minutes. If I have to hydrate toppings for 15-20 minutes, I can't be bothered with them. Might be good added to soups. Wouldn't buy again.

I wanted to make a dry mix of ingredients for camping so the kids could just add water and then make Western Omelettes over the campfire. These little red and green flakes re-hydrate easily--we just let the wet mixture sit for 5 minutes before cooking so all the ingredients--powdered egg, dried onions, and powdered cheese could absorb the water they needed. The flavor these little peppers bring to the final dish is much higher than I had expected, especially given my chef history in working with dried ingredients of all food groups. I wonder if these guys make dried fruit pieces like apples and pears so we can put them in muffins and pancakes???
