While it is quite pricey, the payout is in minimizing issues at the dentist’s chair. I really appreciate that the app helps manage time spent in each area of the mouth, pressure, and scrubbing. It also enables you to flag problem areas requiring additional attention, reminding you to take extra care there. After reading some of the comments regarding concerns with charging via a cup, I was also concerned regarding how this may look. That said, I was surprised to see that there is an alternative option for a separate charging stand which is smaller in size and enables the toothbrush to stand upright. I prefer this option, and think it looks very clean and organized. I will second that the travel case does not charge the toothbrush itself. However, I consider this an extra luxury (an electric of toothbrush of this size is NOT one I would have ever considered “travel size” in the first place - a bit of clunkiness should be expected). I would be just as satisfied to pack the charger separately or temporarily opt for a non-electric toothbrush for lengthy travel. All in all, I’m very satisfied with the quality of this toothbrush.

I’m on my third high-end Sonicare.Pros:Regular dental cleanings used to take forever with lots of comments from my dental hygienist that I had tons of plaque. That is a thing of the past with this brush. It worksCons:I’m on my 3rd one. They don’t last forever. They will break if u drop them on the head. The part the head connects to can become too loose.They work so well I’m ok buying a new one ever 3 years or so.

Absolutely blown away with this electric toothbrush. I honestly didn't buy one of these for years because I thought it was being hyped for no reason. I decided to purchase one after learning how much it helped my Dad with his teeth after his lingual nerve was severed during wisdom tooth removal. He told me that his dentist noticed a huge difference in how much plaque was on the left side of his mouth (the side that was damaged due to the nerve sever). I was sold. I have been using this brush for maybe a year and I have not had one cavity since using it. My teeth feel cleaner right after I brush. I can tell a difference and my dentist can too. This toothbrush gets not only my seal of approval but my dentist's approval too!I should also mention that I enjoy the blue tooth connectivity to the app. It makes sure I brush all sections of my mouth evenly, with not too much pressure or scrubbing. It gives real time feedback as you brush. I found this brush easy to use because of the app. I feel if I didn't have the direction of the app (at least in the beginning) I would have been confused as I was so used to scrubbing my teeth. The charge lasts well over a week. The cute cup charger is a definite bonus because it looks good on my counter.Overall, I highly recommend this toothbrush. Do your teeth a favor and buy one sooner rather than later.

I have been a sonicare user for almost 10 years. The quality of the product is amazing and if there is ever an issue with the product, their customer service is outstanding. So I am not a twice a day, or even regularly floss and my dentist is always amazed at how little to no build up I have on my teeth and never have any dental issues. The different cleaning modes is a great option and having the ability to change the vibration intensity. Yes, the price may seem a bit high, but to have healthy teeth and gums and never need expensive dental work, I would say it is worth the cost.

Excellent electric toothbrush
I switched to this toothbrush from the well know competitor. The Philips is superior in the overall ease of use. I also feel my teeth are cleaner. Love the cup charger that is an actual glass cup over top of the charger! Being able to quickly dump the toothbrush into the cup to charge without having to align is very convenient. Any drips or residue falls into the cup and it's a breeze to rinse/clean. The heads are a nice size and softness. I'm very happy. I bought another one for a family member!
