After some YouTube reviews by creators that I trust this device was the one I went looking for. Bolo had the best price as well which was easy.Some things I learned about it was that while you can technically get full functionality without the mobile app, the ease of using the app created a more seamless experience. The interchangeable thumb sticks are a little gimmicky but them and the buttons feel solid. Overall hand feel for fit and design are well thought out and comfortable.One note is that I use a dbrand case and it does NOT connect with it so I have to take the case off which I don't mind since it helps with thermals as well.

The media could not be loaded. This is the best gaming pad for s phone I've ever used and im cominh from a Razer kishi V2 but i got huge hands so that felt way to small for me to game for more than twenty min. But the gamesir g8 is like a regular size cotroller split in half its amazing. You can play xbox game pass .nvidia now,steam linrary,remote play pc xbox and playstation flawlessly. You just gotta get by the jenky gamesir app. You meed it to commect the comtroller to do firmware uodates and to calibrate the g8 after that you can close that app and juat open any gaming app and the g8 is gonna shiw up to work my friends and it's extremely good at its job let me tell you. You habe two buttons under ghe comtroller to mod to wahevwr you want them to me mapped you can add tirno to buttons and the sticks are hall sensors no more drift stick and the triggers are actually pressure sensitive and the rest of the buttoms habe a nice sounding click or clack. Now for thw elephant in the room. Look i s tried atleast ten cases with my s2; to worl with this thimg and mot ome woukd work ....... thats until i had a idea and it actually worled perfectly. You just habe to cut the rubber off one side of g8 now before you start thinking im a idiot here meOut. On the left and right side of ghe g8 you have these runner fingers if you will well the ones om the right side with the usb c sticking out those fingers are stopping the usb c port to go further into hour isb c phone jack so it wont power on the g8. But if you take a exacto knife and in the video youll see exactly where i cut oit the runner on both sides and under ghe usb c jack. Now i just made the rubber flush with the light hrey pladtic of the g8 only on the usb c side. And now that gives ghe usb c jack a longer reach to your phone port. Now you domt got tonworry anout dropping your phone woth no case on it while trying to put it in ghe g8. Now its nice and sage in its case and still powering on the g8 and it gits in there better than perfect and it dont wonble or mobe around for nothing. See bideo of me shaking my g8 violently and no reaction from it. Look no one wants to cit there new toy but ladies and gents this is the only way your gonna use this device without the risk of dropping your 1500$ phone on the ground to get some robolox in. Now it will be fine i promise gou. It works mint this way im tellinh you just look at my bideo and you try and find a phone case with a one millimeter bottom that is gonna protect your phone if you drop iy. This is the ONLY WAY THIS COMTROLLER WILL WORK WITH ANY PHONE WHILST HAVING A CASE ON IT. MY WAY WORKS AWESOME IT EVEN LOOKS LIKE ITS SUPPOSED TO BE THAT WAY ANYWAY. DONT LET THE BERY BEAT CONTROLLER PASS YOU BY CAUSE YOUR SCARED TO CIT SOME RUBBER OFF IT. NOW COME ON WE ARE ALL SMART HERE WAYCH THE BIDE AND TELL ME THAT AFTER MINE WAS CUT IT DIDNT LOOK LIKE IT WAS SENT TO LE THAT WAY. AND THAT IS A SAMSUNG S24 ultra with a ringke case on it and it works so awesome. Give it a go peepsFor real there isnt anything this comtrollerCant do Its top of the line for a mediocre price. At this price point wiyh all it can access and do they are givimg these things away. There isnt a comtroller on the market neyyer unless iys a dual sense ps5 controller or a xbox elite series controller. Its that good remember to watch the video and when cutting cut away from the usb c out not towards the usb c. Let the plastic of the case be your guide. And kiddos ouy there have your mum or pop do the cutting cause you womy be anle to play if you hury yourself. Use caution when ising sharp onjects and dont run with them

It's a great controller. The buttons and sticks are pretty good. It looks great. The many reviews that praise this controller for the quality of the controls are not wrong at all. This review is more about my longer-term experience. There are things about this controller that I think you should consider before purchasing.First of all, it has a design flaw. Specifically, the placement for the screenshot and Mode buttons right below the Dpad. If you take a look at pictures, you can see that these buttons are really close to the down button. In fact, the distance between the down button and those 2 buttons is smaller than the distance between X and A. This is not something you will notice right away, and no youtube reviewers point it out. But if you plan to play fast paced d-pad intensive games with this, you will from time to time press the screenshot or the mode button while in the heat of gameplay. The screenshot button is relatively benign, although it does pause the word. The mode button can be pretty bad since you might accidentally end up adding a turbo feature to another button. This can get really disruptive. It actually took me a while to notice what was going on. Since then I try to be careful when pressing down. But even while being very conscious about it, it still happens from time to time. Part of this is that I play Levelhead with this controller, and level head does have a trend to have very intensive gameplay sequences where you have to press the down button.The other thing I'd like to mention is, this might actually be one of the best controls you can use for a phone or tablet. Unfortunately, Android and iOS are still platforms that are overall very unfriendly to physical controllers. It's rate to find good games that support controllers. I have to rely on emulators quite a bit. Although this controller's app allows you to set it up to work on touch-only games, I found that the app's UI is very finicky to use, and sometimes you end up dragging the app's options outside of the screen, rendering it useless. Even when you get to configure this feature correctly, it's unfortunately not as good as player a game that actually supports the controller. Even games that support controllers, tend to have lackluster support. I've found that the G8's auto-sleep feature really causes issues on some games, which permanently lose the connection to the controller when it goes to sleep until I close them and start them again. I really wish this auto-sleep feature was configurable, or if you could disable it when some games are active.And regarding the app, it's atrocious. It plays ads. Which is completely unfair and uncalled for. I paid good money for this controller, they really have no right to be playing ads on me when i want to configure it. Additionally, rather than lead me to the configuration options, the app tries to act as a launcher. And it tries to push games that I do not have. It's specially blatant how it tries to get people to play Diablo Immortal, even though it's a very bad game that tries to turn you into a gambling addict. I think these are things that have no place in a controller's app. Meanwhile, it has bugs such as the touch UI issue I have already mentioned. Once I accidentally move the UI outside of the screen, it becomes unusable permanently and I have to delete the app's data to make it return to the center of the screen. At the end of the day, I decided that I just don't want to play apps that don't support the controller, and the app is not useful for other things so I uninstalled the Gamesir app.----tldr: It's a great controller. But the design flaw and the app reduce points from it. I hope to see a sequel that places those buttons at a better location and I really wish the app was updated to add more configuration options so that we can change the sleep interval or disable it and the issues with the touch UI should be fixed.

This is a really great sturdy controller, once the phone is in there it feels like they were built together, which is not normally the case with these type of controllers. I use it for Ge-Force now on my phone and once its all fired up it basically turns my phone into a steamdeck. Works great with native android apps too (if they have controller support they will detect it and just work) and also using it with emulators.i have had quite a few of these sort of controllers over the years and this is probably the best one, especially for this price point when compared with some of the razer ones.

I bought this mainly to play mobile FPS. I come from a console and I recently started playing mobile FPSs like the newly released COD Warzone and Farlight. To be honest I sucked with touch controls and I need something that'll get me the console feel that I'm familiar with, and I'm glad to say that the GameSir G8 has achieved it for me. I'm playin better ( just won 3 games in a row haha) and I'm enjoying my time with this.Bought for an Android phone, no issues so far expect that the GameSir app keeps crashing and I can't map the back buttons.Tldr; if you're looking for a mobile controller for your phone and specifically to play FPS like PUBG, WARZONE AND FARLIGHT etc... get the GamSir G8

É o segundo controle telescópico que comprei e ele é muito bom mesmo. Super confortável pra quem tem mãos grandes, os botões-extra traseiros são bem convenientes, é um controle muito estiloso, hehehe, e eu não tive problema algum de compatibilidade (usei com o RetroArch, DraStic, PPSSPP, Pizza Boy e Moonlight até agora - não tive problema com nenhum deles e nem lembro se tive que configurar, pra falar a verdade, só instalei o app da Gamesir e atualizei o firmware do controle).Só um aviso pra quem não gosta de botões meio "clicky" (barulhentos e com som na vibe de um botão de mouse): o d-pad, o start e select, o LB e o RB são clicky. Não sabia disso quando comprei, mas não é algo que me incomoda. (Talvez os botões ali embaixo também sejam, mas eu literalmente não uso eles pra nada, hehehe.)Em uns 6 meses de uso ou 1 ano, eu atualizo aqui pra dizer se mantenho minha opinião ou não.Atualização: Mantenho minha opinião do controle, pois ele é incrivelmente bom, mas troquei de celular e comprei um tablet: Tenho agora um iPhone e um iPad de 2022 e 2021, respectivamente, e nenhum dos dois carrega via USB-C e é só por isso que não estou mais com o G8 Galileo. Acabei pegando o Gamesir G8+, que é a versão Bluetooth do G8, e tenho usado bastante pra emular DS no iPad, jogando na orientação vertical, e ele é muito bom também. Gamesir arrasa demais!!! 😎

It connected immediately to my RedMagic 10 pro. The quality is high the buttons are smooth packaging is fancy. It looks like I am going to have a good time using it.Thank you.I did not try shadow blade 2, so I can't compare, but the price is reasonable and I am sure it functions the same.
