INSTRUCTIONS:
Keep your topper in its plastic bag until you are ready to use it. Take it out of the bag about 20 minutes before applying it to the cake to allow time for it to dry out slightly. This will make it easier to peel from the backing sheet. The icing should peel off easily - DO NOT FORCE IT! If it is sticking to the backing sheet, this is probably due to the temperature and humidity in the room. If you have a shop-bought cake or the icing on your cake has dried or formed a crust, a little moisture will help the photo attach to the icing and blend in. Dampen the cake icing using a pastry-brush or a fine mist/spray, but don't over-wet it. Pat the top with kitchen towel to absorb any excess moisture.
DO NOT WET THE TOPPER- this may cause the colours in the image to run. Hold the topper gently and place the middle onto the cake first, then smooth it out to the edges with the palm of your hand.
If any bubbles or wrinkles appear in the photo gently pat them out with DRY fingers.
If you accidentally tear the topper icing - DON'T PANIC! Just rub very gently with a dry finger and it will merge back together and the tear will disappear after an hour or so.

This edible cake topper came out perfect! It was just as clear and vibrant as the photo I supplied them. I stored it in the baggy as instructed and had no issues at all removing the backing to place it on the cake. Honestly, it didnt really have much of a taste in my opinion. Just like a mildly sweet frosting flavor.So it doesn't affect the flavor of the cake.**My only recommendations is to use a very sharp knife to poke holes for the candles AND to cut through it when slicing cake. Because when I qas adding the candles and then slicing with a butter knife and a plastic pie wedge shaped spatula, they were all just pushing the topper into the cake. HOWEVER...I did put the topper on the cake and then immediately added the candle, presented it, and started slicing. Soooo...I would ASSUME that if I had added the topper and left the cake out for a bit beforehand, the topper would have "dried out" a bit and became a little harder, like a crust, making it easier to get through. But again, this is only an assumption.Regardless, I was very happy with it, and plan on buying another soon for my other daughters birthday.
Smells incredible, taste is quiet
9/10, if you look closely you will see little imperfections. My daughter saw her favorite character pretty good clear image and didn’t see to even see anything else . The picture i recommend icing on the sides for nice seamless look. Taste it’s sweet but not strong and once you actually eat the cake not noticeable. No flavor just sweet is the best way to explain it but again the taste is mild so not difference to the cake. also it smells incredible, smells like like cake and icing, i really can’t say how the process out putting it on the cake was . I gave it to my local bakery with the instructions and they handled everything .
