I'm a guy in my late 40s with two young boys that run my ragged and has a sedentary office job. I recently begun exercising again to get back in shape and found myself getting winded much easier than I should've been. I'd heard about breathing trainers like this, so I decided to give it a try. I appreciate how you can set the "difficulty" level (for lack of a better term). I found it much harder to use than I was expecting at first, but gradually began to up the resistance. I've actually been keeping this in my car and use it for at least 5 minutes on my lunch breaks to start. I haven't used the app yet, but that's the next step.While I haven't been using this for long, I've already noticed an improvement simply in ease of use and measuring my lung pressure with the included tester.Overall, this seems to be a great value for what you get, since you get the trainer, "tester", and all all in one package. I also like the zippered travel case it all sorted in. I'm looking forward to continued use and using the app moving forward. In reality, though, I'm enjoying using it without.

I got this because I started to notice that my sedentary lifestyle was causing me to get winded going up a flight of stairs, which I was NOT willing to live with. Also, having had pneumonia once I knew I was at risk of getting it again and I wanted my lung capacity and health at its best should that ever happen. This device is easy to use, the games are engaging and fun, and I love the little blue case to keep everything together. I had a little trouble getting started but after some trial and error, I was able to use this Sonmol Digital Breathing Exercise Device. It came with instructions but for some reason, I was still struggling to understand. To use the device alone (or by itself) is okay but I found it much more helpful and motivating to use the app. I like the little games as they give some interaction. I assumed this would be easy but they actually do challenge you. I haven't made it past level 1 strength yet but hopefully, with more practice, I will get stronger. I like that everything can fit inside of one case and, the fact that a case was provided is great. I thought this was rechargeable but it's not. It uses the flat coin-shaped batteries but those tend to last a while (just a heads up).
