I'm a runner. A day after a hard run I like to go for long slow jogs in max cushion shoes where I just get my legs moving and run at a slower pace. I just finished a 7 miler @ 8:45 min pace and feel fantastic. I have about 20 miles on these shoes now in 3 or 4 workouts; all recovery miles. I can say that I'm a huge fan. I definitely get a blister on my inner arch because the cush of the shoes has your heel and plantar sink in so you can get rub on that inner arch but I'm still giving 5 stars because blisters are unavoidable for every foot. I am sure I'll get over the blisters if I let my feet fully heal between runs. Aside from comfort, the best thing about these shoes is the stability; the 1080v13 felt VERY unstable for my poor weak wittle ankles (despite being a sub 3:20 marathoner). When I'm lazy running and just putting the miles up; these things remain squishey and stable. 5/5.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:I would have loved these shoes except the toe box was surprisingly narrow. The cushioning was soft but didn’t make you feel like you’d roll an ankle. They felt quite solid. Alas, the toe box squeezed my feet to no end, both in height and width. I wear a 13 wide and these were just to narrow around the toes. Shape this shoe like the 1080’s and you’d have something. Comfort:Other than being too narrow these would have been great. I ordered a wide size and there just wasn’t enough room around the toes. I prefer a comfort sneaker that I primarily walk in. This is the best I have tried. Regular width worked great and yes it is junky compared other runners but on paper size wise with max cushion sneakers. My feet feel great after a 5 mile fast paced walk.
