One likes soft food, the other only dry kibble. One likes lickable treats, the other, again, only crunchy treats. At first, Mr. Softy had no interest in these minnows, though Mr. Crunchy went nuts, but 'how to eat an entire minnow' was incomprehensible to him. After breaking up the minnows for him for a few days, Mr. Softy (who WILL nibble at dry kibble, even if it's not his preference) got a bit of a crumbled minnow that I had placed atop the kibble for Mr. Crunchy. Then Mr. Softy went nuts for them as well. Now they both know where the bag is, and expect a minnow every time I refill the kibble. I think I'm a softy, too, because I shall continue to provide. :)

I was a little nervous about ordering a different brand of treats for my cats because let’s face it, freeze dried treats aren’t cheap.I ran out of treats and didn’t have time to go to the pet store so I ordered these. I have 2 cats. Daisy cried periodically at the kitchen cabinet for 2 days (every time she thought about treats). She snubbed her nose at the cheap, stale brand that sat in the cabinet for months. Joe happily ate several.When I arrived home from work today, Daisy ran to the kitchen cabinet to tell me what a good girl she was all day and needed a treat. Thankfully, Bolo had delivered!As I opened the package I smelled a hint of coconut. Yes, the freeze dried chicken smells a little like coconut.With a little coaxing, Daisy accepted the new treats and seems to be happy to have treats in the house again. Joe is happy too.

I'm very pleased with the quality of this item. I received a bag of 85 individual minnows... ranging from small to medium to large. They are all whole and the scent is very mild. My cat seems a bit confused as to what she's supposed to do with them. So far, she sniffs them and licks them. I think she needs time to get used to them. I gave my neighbor's cat a minnow and she gobbled it down. I do recommend this product.

Purrl hears the bag crinkle & teleports into the room like magic. They must taste good. Purrl savors them like fine dining, one tiny fish at a time. Then, she sits down with the « more more more » stare. Jaspurr loves them too although he is more into chicken usually.I try to control Purrl’s weight so I like that they are pure protein, low calories, & make it easy to control portion size. The smell is subtle & tolerable. I can’t say much about the longevity because a bag doesn’t last very long in this multi-cat house. Cat mom approved & Tortie approved.

1 out of my 5 loved the minnows! I have 2 kittens going to new homes ( 1 of those is the one that **loves** the minnows) and 3 adult cats. The 1 kitten is crazy about them! The rest (1 kitten and 3 adults) are not too sure... I would reccomend these as long as A) it's affordable to you. Or B) you have a friend/family/neighbor to give them as a 'kitty present' *just* in case your own kitty doesn't take to them. If they do, you won't be disappointed! I think its worth the try to be honest. I just held them and used my thumb nail to break them into 1/3 or 1/4 (depending on size). Unless your kitty is fully grown and sorta wild, I would reccomend breaking them up. Plus it releases a different smell that may entice them. I gave a 4 star because it's my first night trying them and the reaction that we recieved from the 1 kitten was well worth the money! Who knows.. the others may beg for them tomorrow!

These things smell like old fish but my cats lose their minds over them. Very healthy treat for them to have and they absolutely love them. Since my cats have lost a lot of teeth over the past few years (due to age, etc) I find that it works best if I cut them into fourths for them. They have no problem eating them, and they have not caused any digestion issues at all. I put them on top of their morning and evening meals now, but they also like them alone as a snack.

These freeze-dried cat treats are my boy’s absolute favorite! We mostly buy the minnows — he goes wild for them — but we like to switch it up with the other freeze-dried options too, and he loves them all. They’re a great high-protein snack and super convenient. If you’ve got a picky cat, definitely give these a try. My guy approves 100%!

If these bags had more in them I'd definetly give them 5 stars the bag isnt a full bag which is a downside if you have more than 1 cat who loves these treats. Besides that we all love them! The freshness when opening the bag and breaking them in half for the kitties shoes this. Its also good for their dental health by them chewing. I do wish that you got more but thats the ONLY downside

I WILL be purchasing this again.

Way better ingredients than the garbage cat treats. I use it as a topper for my wet food and the cats loved it. Even my picky one!
Best Omega 3 solution in a treat
Both my cat and dog love these treats. It’s pricey but worth it. I got them because of their dander and I thought I was imagining it but nope - their coats are shiny and almost dander free after 3 days of one treat/ day. I have to break the little minnow up for my cat but my dog just eats it whole. Will continue to use!
Much too expensive
The product itself is fine, though there are hardly any pieces of heart for the price. Might be worth it for around 300 rupees and that would still be expensive -- just check with your local butcher
