We bought this for use during a transcontinental trip from East Cost to California. We had to bring these in during wintry nights for fear of freezing if left in the car overnight. But the 2% didn't at all feel like 2%. It felt much richer, almost like whole milk. The mile remained without getting spoiled for almost 4 months.

I bought this milk from Bolo to try because it was shelf stable and had12 essential nutrients. Problem is I don't like the taste. It taste like cooked milk to me. If you like the taste of Promised Land Dairy from Texas or Fairlife milk, then you definitely won't like the taste of Darigold Shelf Stable Whole Milk. Well at least I am getting 12 essential nutrients drinking this even though I don't like the taste, and won't be purchasing again.

I wanted to give this product 5 stars because the milk is good, but after I went through a couple bottles, I realized they are in '7' containers, which is not considered really safe. Look it up. So, I'll probably finish these but refer back to other shelf milk products in less toxic containers. Darn, I thought this would be good for longer term storage. Wrong. Bummer. (Why wouldn't they put a long term storage product in a safer container!)number 7 is generally not considered safe for long-term food storage or reuse. It can be made from a variety of plastics, some of which may contain BPA (Bisphenol A), or other chemicals that could leach into the food or beverage. While some #7 plastics, like Tritan, are BPA-free, it's best to err on the side of caution and avoid them for storing food, especially for children.
