This foundation really gives good coverage! My freckles are gone :) However, the color I picked, L20-W, was really yellow (in my defense it didn’t look so yellow on my screen). I look jaundiced (my skin is a cool tone). It looked yellow in the bottle when it came, but when I pumped some out on my makeup brush it was pinkish, so I thought I was good, but I wasn’t. I only needed two squirts to do my whole face and get rid of my freckles (the second squirt was just for my freckles. They are completely invisible now). It must stay on really good when you’re sweaty because it was really hard to clean off of my makeup brush. It’s very matte. I didn’t know I had little wrinkles on my head, but I guess I do. You have to “encourage” it into your nose pores or it makes them look like craters. Once you do, though, your nose’ll look really smooth like mine does now. It does make my skin look pretty nice, though. The coverage! My ears look so funny and white next to my face.It feels pretty nice. It’s a tad sticky/oily, like just a bit. It’s not a light feeling. That lessens as the day goes on. I didn’t use setting powder and it wipes off on things pretty easily. It’s all over the nose pads of my glasses and when I wipe them off, it solidly covers the tissue, too (great coverage on the tissue, too XD). You should definitely use a setting powder or spray with this one. It smears more than my M*c foundation.It came off with a bit of work. It might have been easier if I’d used makeup remover instead of AHA face wash, but well, hindsight is always 20/20.And that’s all I’ve got for you!P.S. The product page says that the "W" in L20-W means "warm undertone!" so all I need to do is find one shade lighter with a N or a C, so L10-N or L10-C or maybe even F30-N or F30-C. That really helps!

First off, I have textured skin with pores. I am middle age. I have dry skin. I have visible acne. Fine lines.I really like the coverage. It's medium to full coverage as my before and after photos show. I was very pleased with that. The nozzle really gives out a good amount each pump, so I got worried that it was too much the moment I applied on my face. Basically, a little goes a long way being that I am not used to apply a full face of makeup. It blended well on my skin. Didn't feel overly thick but it was not quite light weight. Wearing it throughout the day I didn't feel like I had a lot of makeup on. As can be seen in my photos it definitely covered what I needed to. Problems areas were gone. I also have redness due to rosacea on lower cheeks and forehead and that was covered up well. The color also was yellow enough that it covered the redness throughout the day.I like how long it lasted on my face all day without any touch-ups. It lasted well through extreme heat and even a bit of sweat. Now that's promising.The one drawback to me is that it's not quite a natural finish but more of a matte especially because of my dry skin. That wasn't too bad but I tend to lean towards foundations that give me a dewy look or a moisturized finish. I suppose I can alter that with a dewy setting spray.

I really liked this foundation. I always use moisturizer before I put on foundation, and powder afterward, and I didn’t notice the problem with creasing that some other reviewers mentioned. I was concerned that the color I picked might be just a little too dark given the online samples, but it turned out to be just right.The foundation went on smoothly, and the coverage seems very nice, though I still have some dark spots that I use concealer on. I would describe it as a matte medium coverage.

I typically search for my foundation in a store so I can find a shade that matches my skin tone better. This was challenging to purchase online taking into account differing monitor color tones. I was delightfully surprised that I chose a good color tone for me! The price point on this product is definitely more than I would typically spend for foundation, but I was willing to give it a try. The foundation goes on nicely over my moisturized skin. I am not a fan of the pump dispenser, so I take that off and dispense it from the bottle onto my fingers to apply it to my face. The foundation is slightly heavier than the less expensive brands and seems to even out my skin tone fairly well. It wears good throughout the day and is removeable with soap and water, just like my less expensive brands. I believe this is a good product, but the price would be enough to prevent me from ordering it again.

This smashbox foundation provides great coverage on my skin. It has a matte look when applied. The color I received is a summer color for me. This foundation lasts all day even when working on the hospital floor.

This foundation is so lightweight that I could hardly tell it was on. It blends in nice and smooth but I do like to add lotion to mine.The first time putting on the make up I went for a pretty intense bike ride and noticed that it stayed on well and wasn’t dripping down my face.I do feel like it’s hard to match the tone of the makeup so normally I think I would go into a store like Sephora to try it on. I got lucky with mine matching pretty well. The price point is high but that’s what I would expect for a high quality foundation from a well known brand.
