I’ve placed it on my deck to protect us from the constant splinters we were getting. I was afraid that since it was plastic, that it would get too hot in our NC sun. However, I’ve had it for a week now, and the temperature has been well above 90 with heat index over 110. It has never been too hot to walk across. So not only does it protect us from splinters, it looks GORGEOUS, and it keeps the deck much cooler than when the sun would make the wood deck too hot! My family loves this rug and I wish I’d bought it years ago. It’s easy to clean, since it’s made from woven plastic. You can even use non chlorine bleach and dish soap with the water hose to keep it beautiful. Our cat loves it the best. Now when it rains he doesn’t get as wet if he stays under the deck. The rug helps dissipate the rain off the deck, unless it’s a full downpour. So he’s been choosing to stay outside more often instead of coming in. I bought the largest size available to completely cover my deck and was surprised to find a nice carrying bag that came with it. So it’s going to be more convenient to fold it away this winter before we get ice storms. The rug also has large tabs all along the thick well made edges, for you to secure it to whatever you need. You could use standard tent hooks if you wanted to place it in the ground for on the beach or grass for a picnic. We will put zip ties along the hedges to secure it more to our decking so it won’t get blown up in storms by the winds.

A perfect mat for a picnic. Easy to clean, size is good and it has a carrying bag. The design is nice and the material is good. This mat is multipurpose. I highly recommend it.

I love it! The color is pretty close to this easy to clean and super easy to place. You do want to place a few heavy objects to keep it down as the corners likes to pop up but it was no problem and honestly brought the entire porch together.

I love the way this rug looks with my patio furniture, but wish it was better quality. The colors and pattern are exactly as pictured. The rug came folded in a bag. After unfolding it still had bumps and ridges from being folded, and took placing the furniture over it to get them out. The material of the rug could be better quality. It feels cheap. After one week on my deck the rug blew up slightly on a windy day and ripped immediately.
