This is a very nice cane. It folds easy and unfolds just as easily, making it very convenient to keep nearby. And it is a lovely color! The loop on the side is convenient for being able to hold on to it when you need to pick up, or hold, something. It can almost stand up steadily by itself, but only sometimes, not something you can count on. It is a really good price when you compare it with canes in stores.

Update: This was great even in wet conditions! 100% happy with a first time cane.I'm 22 with frequent joint pain and issues with POTS, after a long talk with my therapist and some friends, i decided to try a cane - despite being worried about the odd looks I'll eventually get. Judgement aside, I'm so happy I grabbed this cane, it was easy to figure out my height setting (especially for future reference) and get used to using it. the grip is nice but I'd say for larger hands you might want to go with a brand that has a larger handle.This is very portable and I've decorated it to help add to my confidence, but it's already helped ease pain during activities I used to love but now easily get worn down on or on days I need extra support. I'm still teaching my dog to walk slower when I have it, but it's helped keep me steady even if she tugs. The build is nice, not expensive by any means but good enough that I feel it'll last a while and will be a nice option for on the go trips.

I’ve never needed a cane until knee replacement and subsequent rehab. This cane is made very well. Each section is held together with a durable bungee cord. The fit and finish is very nic. I especially appreciate the locking collar between the top and second section. Each section is tapered, allowing easy assembly and additional strength. The larger foot pad seems like the perfect size and pivots on uneven ground. I’d recommend this to anybody.

This is a nice cane for the price. It easily adjusts to a low height. I’m five feet tall and like it on the next to last button hole when I’m barefoot and one hole taller when I’m in shoes. I can’t speak to how it is for tall people, unfortunately. It is 30.5” at its shortest and 37.5” at its tallest. I bought it after shattering my ankle. It bore a significant portion of my weight at first without difficulty. Seems pretty sturdy without being heavy.This cane collapses and reassembles easily. It has a strong bungee cord inside for folding and reassembly. It doesn’t rattle unless the snap on the wrist strap bumps against the metal cane, and I’ve found it easy to move the strap around to stop that. The grip is reasonably comfortable; the grip is plastic but has divots for fingers and soft feel texture in the parts it’s most likely to matter.The “premium cane” comes with a wide, textured tip with a bit of cushion. That gives it some grip and some give without making it noisy or easily caught up on the ground. It does not stand on its own, but it’s not designed to.The purple color looks reddish purple in lamplight and a bit more bluish purple in the sunlight. I like it both ways. The finish can scratch if you drop it on pavement, which is frustrating but not super avoidable in an affordable cane. I’ve dropped it a few times and you can only see the scratches up close. The texture is brushed aluminum, and makes it look nice.Overall, I recommend this cane. It’s affordable and comfortable to use for what it is. I think you should get a color you like so that it’s fun to carry. It’s amazing the difference it made to my mood to have something that wasn’t bare aluminum like the hospital issue stuff.

This is sturdy and the tip is really sturdy and I like that it's wider than these usually are which gives me more stability. I got this to provide stability as I progress with recovery after total knee transplant. It's very inexpensive but the color is pretty and it does what is supposed to do. The handle is comfortable and hasta nice grip to it. Even after I put hand lotion on it's not slippery. My physical therapist liked it too, especially the tip that's wider and more stable.

I’m in my 40s and I had a hip replacement. After 4-5 weeks, I didn’t need my crutches anymore. But it being winter, I’m nervous about the pavement being slippery or tripping up. To put my mind at ease, I’ve been using the black walking stick, which was priced fairly at £12.99. What I appreciate is that the end does not slip or slide around in wet conditions so I feel secure using it. No, the handle isn’t soft but it doesn’t bother me at all! To fold, you loosen the upper adjustable ring and it releases the tension in the whole stick. You then pull and fold the stick into thirds, then tie to secure with the convenient snap button tie that stays on the stick. No, it doesn’t come with a bag but not a bother, I bring an old drawstring bag to at least put the end of stick in my bag, so I don’t bring in grime of the street in my backpack. It doesn’t fold extremely small but small enough to fit in a tote bag or backpack. I love that the walking stick isn’t too big or too loud as I’m middle aged and don’t want to draw attention by looking older with a walking aid. This walking stick is discreet, comfortable and most of all robust to keep me comfortably out and about in my recovery. I’m 163cm/5’4” and I’m in the third rung, meaning that it’s suitable for those who are shorter. I believe this would be comfortable enough for someone up to 6’4”, so it has quite a range. Happy with my purchase.
