Mixed 1 tablespoon in 1/2 cup of water. Practically tasteless, undetectable. Dry powder in bag did not smell like raspberries or any fruit. I then made a paste using a minimal amount of water. Only then could I detect some flavor, when the texture resembled jelly. Disappointed.

This raspberry powder is tart with the flavor of raspberries. The grind is very fine, almost white-flour fine, which makes it easy to stir into flours when making baked goods or smoothies for a raspberry-flavored meal shake. I got this to add to smoothies and to make raspberry-flavored breakfast scones. Reconstitute this by adding 1 Tbsp water to 1/2 tsp powder, or a similar combination. Stir the water into the powder and press out the lumps.

This is a great way to get raspberry into foods when you don't have fresh. The raspberry flavor of the powder is fresh and tart with a hint of sweetness. It'll clump in liquids unless it's added slowly, mixed into smoothies wasn't a problem. In a pint sized banana milk smoothie, two tablespoons added a burst of raspberry flavor. I'll be experimenting next with jello.

I was so looking forward to this product… And very disappointed to my taste buds. I got no raspberry flavor from it.
