My install was on 2008 Toyota Sequoia SR5. See youtube for how to take dash apart. About half the cords and connectors won’t be used. I was able to figure out which harness to use because it was the only one that fit all my connections. The wireless carplay works but is hard to navigate to. The installed navigation but is pretty good but is always telling you if you are speeding. The sound was excellent. The installed head unit locked in solid and fit well. The wifi seems very weak compared to my other head units. Only been able to connect once from 20’ away. To use bluetooth from phone you have open wifi as well-weird. The 5g capability is non functional. The unit likes to have only one capability open at a time but seems impossible to close something like navigation and open carplay music. The unit is hard to operate on the move because of complexity of steps to open and close capabilities. will re-eval after rear camera in and carplay working. Tried to install mic today. Mic has a 3.5 mm jack but there is no place on head unit to accept it— gotta call china on that. Also the wire harness that fit has no connection for the cooling fan, so thats not working. Last, i couldn’t find a way to raise and lower volume on the carplay music. Thats another problem to ask about.
