Saw these being made on TV and orders. They are SO good that it’s very hard to stop eating them!! Highly recommended.

I received the calissons dirty either with crumbs attached to glaze everywhere clearly visible especially on the lighter colors or with cracked glaze on the top.

This was going to be a present...very expensive for such a small gift. But what really stunned me was the packaging, or should I say the lack of packaging. Terrible. Won't get again.

Four stars just to reflect the price- the candies are five star yummy. The fruit flavors are the kind you find in Europe- natural and strong. The candies feel and taste fresh, and are unusual and beautiful as well.

For something a little bit different, how about two layers of French almond paste candies in pastel colors presented in a clear box? These candies are very attractive and extremely sweet. There are four flavors: chocolate/lemon, violet, fig, and caramel. I am not sure I would have been able to identify the flavors without knowing ahead of time. The violet candies definitely smell floral, and the others are more subtly flavored. Really pretty in the compact box, makes an impressive gift.
