5.0 out of 5 stars Love it! Amazfit watches are great products!
I've had several Amazfit watches over the years. My current favorite is the GTR4 (round, feature-packed, nice looking watch). I had always wanted to get the GTS4 (the square version) for a second choice, but couldn't bring myself to spend the money for it (It was around $150 at the time - still a good price, but I felt guilty, since the GTR4 was already so great!). Then the Amazfit Active came along for $84, so I decided to get it. I'm so happy I did. I got the black color, but it comes in a few more. I love the watch! It's super lightweight and feels great on my wrist. I even like the fold under strap - nice and neat. This little watch is pretty much the GTS4 minus a few features. It doesn't have a barometer or altimeter (but it does have a compass), no automatic brightness, and no camera remote (I think you can actually get one if you pay for an app). There isn't storage space on the watch for music, which doesn't bother me, since I don't store music on my GTR4, anyway. Other than that, I can't think of any features it doesn't have that my other watch does; and for everyday use, I don't miss those features. There is a single flat button on the side (no rotating crown), and I think it makes this watch look more sleek and compact. There are a ton of free watch faces, and the app store with many of the same apps as I have on the GTR4. The vibration is strong enough to wake me when I'm sleeping. The speaker is not quite as loud as the GTR4, but loud enough for telephone calls. Texting has the added feature of using a tiny keyboard to type responses, which I've actually been able to do when my phone was charging, so a pretty cool feature. The GPS is accurate. I believe it can do some of the same navigation that the GTR4 does (primitive map display, bread crumbs, return route), but I don't know how big of a route you can store on it, since I haven't used that feature (I'd take the larger watch with the extra memory on a hike). The heartrate, steps, sleep tracking, blood O2, and other health features are the same as the GTR4. The display, while smaller, is still easy to read and contains all the information you need in texts, health data, etc. Battery life is very good. I average about 10 days with moderate GPS use (walks or bike rides in my neighborhood, an hour at a time, three or four days a week). All in all, this is a great watch, and I'm happy I decided on this rather than the GTS4 (By the way, as of this writing, the GTS4 is $129!). I highly recommend this watch, and the Amazfit brand in general.

I honestly didn’t expect to love this watch as much as I do. I got the Amazfit Active during a deal, and for the price, it’s a total win.It looks sleek, feels super light on the wrist, and the display is bright and clear—even in the sun. It’s been perfect for tracking steps, sleep, and even controlling my music while I cook. The system runs smoothly and is very easy to use.The battery life is solid, and it charges quickly too. I’ve been wearing it daily and it hasn’t disappointed. If you want a smartwatch that looks good and does the job without costing a fortune, this one’s a no-brainer

This review is based on two weeks of use.Pros1. Long battery life. I haven't thoroughly tested this yet with daily workouts, but based on my experience so far, I think the manufacturer's claim of 14 days is not unreasonable.2. Measurements of heart rate, blood oxygen contents, and exercise distances are in sync with info from other devices.3. Bright display. Easy to see in bright sunlight even with the brightness setting at about 75%.4. Built in GPS is accurate, and I like not having to carry my phone with me anymore.5. A fairly good selection of free watch faces, especially if you like analog vs. digital displays.6. I wear the watch nearly 24 hrs./day and find the silicone strap to be comfortable. I am going to replace it with a hook and loop strap, however, because my wrist size falls within two of the notches.7. Ability to store and play music from the watch. The quality of the built-in speaker is poor, but what can you expect from a tiny speaker that sits against your wrist? Sound quality using earbuds is fine.8. There are many other features that I haven't explored yet like an exercise coach, voice activated commands and Alexa. They seem to have good potential.9. Good price. The Active model has many of the features of the more expensive Amazfit models.Cons1. The sleep app is so inaccurate as to be useless. When I wake up in the middle of the night and read to get back to sleep, the app will show me sleeping, sometimes in a deep sleep. The "score" the app assigns to the sleep quality seems to be a number plucked out of thin air.2. While there is a so-so manual for the watch itself, documentation for the Zepp app is totally lacking. The Zepp web site has an FAQ section that answers questions about the company itself and nothing about how to use the Zepp app. The app is loaded with features, but to figure them out requires a trial-and-error meandering through the various screens.Now the two big ones:3. The left-right swipe sensitivity is hit and miss, sometimes taking multiple tries before the watch responds.4. The watch lacks a double tap to wake up the display feature. I can't always raise my wrist to wake up the display and the small side button is difficult to operate. Interestingly, if you tap the display within 1-2 seconds of it going dark it will awaken. It seems like the ability is there but not outside of that small period. I raised the question with Amazfit support, and the AI generated response gave me a path to follow in the watch settings app. When I responded that the final step that would enable the double tap was not there, AI said that not all models have that ability. Thanks a lot!I have been using an Amazfit Band 7 for the past 15 months, and it has both a double tap feature and a sensitive swipe. Why Amazfit can't incorporate both in a watch costing twice as much as the Band 7 is beyond me. Maybe a future software update will resolve both issues.I want to assign 5 stars to an otherwise perfect-for-me watch, but these two flaws cause me to knock it back to just four.
Great watch for a budget price
Battery lasts close to 2 weeks or more depending what you have turned on . Nice watch for the price

Blown Away – Better Than Most Expensive Watches Out There!
I don’t usually write long reviews, but I felt compelled to do so for the Amazfit Active Smart Watch. I’ve owned smartwatches from some of the big-name brands that cost 2–3 times more, and honestly, this one blows them out of the water in many aspects. The value for money is just incredible.First off, the design is sleek, lightweight, and very comfortable to wear all day long. The Petal Pink color looks elegant and stylish — I’ve received multiple compliments already. Despite the low price point, it doesn't feel cheap at all. In fact, it looks and performs like a premium watch.The battery life is absolutely amazing. I easily get 9-10 days on a single charge (TRUST ME), something I could never dream of with other high-end smartwatches that barely last two days. The GPS tracking is fast and accurate, and the 20+ sports modes are more than enough for any fitness enthusiast. Whether I’m walking, running, cycling, or even doing yoga, the tracking is spot on.The AI fitness coach and sleep tracking are surprisingly advanced and detailed, helping me stay on top of my wellness goals. And the addition of Bolo Alexa is super handy — I can check the weather, set reminders, and control smart devices without reaching for my phone.It connects flawlessly with both Android and iPhone, and the Zepp app is intuitive and full of insights. Overall, this watch gives more features than most high-end models, at a fraction of the cost. Highly recommended!Again, trust me the battery life is amazing.

Gran valor por su precio, estoy enamorado de la duración de batería al rededor de 10 días con un uso de gps para correr y deportes de pelota como el Squash y Basketball. Con android puedes responder mensajes desde el reloj y ver fotos que te envían. Con iOS es un poco mas basico, no puedes responder mensajes pero si puede responder llamadas. Es un buen reloj por el precio, no se arrepentirán.
