A friend asked me to retrofit and repair some of her jewelry and I didn't have the supplies. I'm not an avid jewelry maker so I only had very basic tools. (I've only mounted and hung pendants - never anything else.) So I ordered this. The price point is very reasonable for the assortment of supplies included, and I was glad that it came with wire-cutting pliers. I have never had a jump ring opener tool before, but that thing is awesome! I'd always just used my fingers or pliers before, but the opener made quicker, more precise work of it for sure!I only really intended to use this to fix my friend's jewelry, but it came with a bunch of extra stuff, so I bought some beads and have made several bracelets and pairs of earrings with my nieces. They've found the tools all easy to use, and are having fun and learning a lot. I'm sure a professional who spends a lot of time in the jewelry world will have their own favorites, but from my perspective, as a beginner who needed assorted parts for repairs and retrofits, this was a generous assortment with more than enough to meet my needs for a long time.

Great set of jewelry findings to get you started with a ton of projects. The pliers work great and are nice quality. I'm really impressed by the variety of findings included, as well as the quantity. It's a really versatile set, and I'm enjoying using it to make jewelry with my daughters. I like that it includes silver and gold toned findings too. Great gift idea paired with some beads for older kids and adults alike, and a great value for everything included.
