5.0 out of 5 stars Consistently Excellent PETG – My Go-To PETG Filament for the Bambu P1P
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } I’ve purchased Elegoo Rapid PETG multiple times now, and it’s become my go-to filament for functional parts, enclosures, and anything that needs a strong, clean finish. Using it with my Bambu P1P has been a smooth and satisfying experience every time. The prints come out reliably with minimal stringing, great layer adhesion, and a beautiful, consistent sheen. I especially appreciate the balance Elegoo has struck between strength and ease of printing—it’s noticeably less finicky than other PETG brands I’ve tried.I also want to commend the packaging and spool quality. The filament always arrives vacuum-sealed with a desiccant, and I’ve never run into any moisture-related issues, even in longer print jobs.Whether I’m prototyping or producing final parts, this PETG delivers professional-quality results. It’s rare to find a filament that maintains such high standards across multiple spools, but Elegoo has earned my trust. As someone who is passionate about quality and consistency in 3D printing, I wholeheartedly recommend this filament. If you’re looking for reliable PETG that performs well across a variety of applications, this is it.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent PETG filament. Strong and prints easily!
First was printing it at the lower range of the recommended temperatures (235°C or so) to avoid the parts from being brittle. But couldn't print fast and even at lower speeds was having issues like printing with a cold filament. After lots of frustration and following an advice, I increased the temperature to 255° and started to have fun. Printing is really fast (I print at 18mm^3/s with a 0.4mm nozzle), the quality is good, the parts aren't brittle and the layer bonding is better than some other PETG filaments I used and the parts are stronger too!
5.0 out of 5 stars Not dry out of the box
This filament is great. The only minor issue I had was the filament was so water soaked that when I ran it through my printer, brand new out of the box, it was popping so much that the filament broke apart as it was coming out of the hot end. I had to dry it about 5 hours at 65c and that fixed it. It was so wet I could feel the moisture coming out of my dryer.
5.0 out of 5 stars Excellent quality. Excellent value.
Excellent filament at a great price point. Out performs others at half the price. To be clear, I choose this filament because of its quality. As 3D printing is part of our business it's very important that we produce parts that are the best quality. We are able to exceed our goals with this product. The pricing is an added bonus. Highly recommend.
4.0 out of 5 stars Good value for the price
I've had no issues with clogging or size or anything else with this filament. If you think it's "bunk" carefully dry it or check your settings as I was used to using the classic overture PETG before, I had a bit of a learning curve to figure out the proper settings so it looked right (color and otherwise) and was structurally sound when printing. For the white I ended up cooking a prime line to a nice golden-marshmallow color in a 20 hour print (it was funny because my brain decided that was the smartest first test print with this stuff). Now that I've got my settings figured out I do love this stuff and my printer loves it too. Not a single clog or jam as of yet. (Though I'm a big fan of the "cold-pull" as a good preventative measure as well as when using the "load" feature of my printer- I hit it about 4 times to ensure that the plastics don't end up mixing in "unfavorable ways") all of that being said I've printed some awesome and strong things with this already. 1 being a working gas can cap replacement (the one that screws onto the can to hold the nozzle on) and 2 a lovely yarn bowl. When printed right it has a decent bit of flex (but not as much as sunlu rapid PETG). Definitely make sure you dry it though as it was acting a touch wet at first but after a bit of wind blowing through the spool outside in the shade with a desert humidity of 5% for 3 hours during the day was enough to get it sorted out. Also these colors are truly opaque and not transparent like the AnyCubic and some other brands out there. Lastly I do have to knock off a star-not because of anything other than the packaging IS NOT resealable (I mean the bags), which although it is not a deal breaker if you live in a more humid environment definitely plan accordingly and don't open until you have a way of storing them as PETG is still hygroscopic OR unless you plan on using up the entire spool in 1 print. Hope this helps you all. It's certainly worth the price for me and works well. I am already going to be buying more.
5.0 out of 5 stars This is an upgrade from PLA with no downsides.
This stuff prints using the same profile I use for my PLA+, also has no odor, prints with the same visual quality as my PLA+, but it's much more durable. Amazing.
Nice and easy for my first PETG experience.
(function() { P.when('cr-A', 'ready').execute(function(A) { if(typeof A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel === 'function') { A.toggleExpanderAriaLabel('review_text_read_more', 'Read more of this review', 'Read less of this review'); } }); })(); .review-text-read-more-expander:focus-visible { outline: 2px solid #2162a1; outline-offset: 2px; border-radius: 5px; } Ender 3 Pro user here, and fairly new to it.I went through a few rolls of PLA & PLA+ before I dared a print in PETG because it's supposed to be a bit more tricky. It wasn't.In fact, I had zero issues with bed adhesion (I normally do).A little stringing, but that can be dialled in. Nothing much though, I got a few good, clean prints straight off.As this one works and works well, I see no reason to try any other brand. I will buy it again.
Excelente filamento
Zeer goed PETG filament.
Zeer goed en voordelig PETG filament. Het levert me steeds mooie en stevige prints op. Ik heb al menig rolletje Elegoo filament verbruikt en tot op heden geen problemen gehad.
