I've used multiple different types of over patches for my Dexcom G7 sensor. The majority of them are a variation on an adhesive bandage material with a cut-out for the sensor. Even though the sensors are supposed to be worn when in water such as in my swimming pool, I find that the adhesive begins to wear after about five days and loosens risking loss of the sensor. These waterproof sensor covers are fantastic. I chose the clear transparent model and found that it protects my sensor for 10 days of the sensor where, does not begin to peel up even with daily water exposure, and best of all keeps my sensor in position, even if I happen to knock it against something.

I have struggled with adhesive allergies with the Medtronic over-tape. That product had been a wonderful change for me. No more scars or red bloody rashes. This sticks for me for the whole week. I use this on my Medtronic G4.

Overall, a pretty good item! This is my first time wearing a Libre and I just wanted something to wear to keep it secure. Very sticky patches, but leaves a big ring of adhesive on my arm that is kind of irritated. If you buy these, I suggest leaving the paper on the inside part that goes over the device itself, or else it’ll be harder to get off and could rip the device out. Works well for showering, sleeping and going to the gym though!

Good idea gone wrong. This is one of the best patches I have used if you can get it on without error. The glue free center is very hard to see though to position it over the sensor. A clear center would help. Once you remove the center cover, the remaining side covers are so narrow that it is almost impossible to handle and place the patch without getting your fingers all over the glue and compromising the patch. I usually fold back the center cover to have some grip but it is still hard to see the sensor through the glueless area and to get the correct position. Then you must peel off the remaining covers without compromising the glue. Once it is on IT STAYS ON for the full 2 weeks. It needs a clear or outlined center and wider grips for your fingers when applying. If they would improve the design it would be perfect. Now it works but is a pain in another area. Hey guys get weaving. I confess that I just ordered another brand of similar design to see if it is easier to apply. The patch is fine but getting it on and properly centered is a nightmare.

My husband bought this brand after using another one for a long time. The morning after he put it on with his new sensor, he started getting a rash. He tried to remove it but the non stick part is so small that it was stuck and lifting off the sensor. He had to leave it on until he could get a new sensor. By the time he was able to remove it and put on a new sensor, he had a horrific rash. Immediately ordered a different brand and returned these. No issues with the new brand, so it was definitely these. I’ve never seen him have a reaction like this and he doesn’t have sensitive skin. After seeing this rash, I would never recommend anyone put these on their skin!

Secure, easy to apply overpatch
I had been using another brand that decided to take my money and run on the last order. Had a hard time finding a good replacement until I found these. I love these overpatches. They are secure and easy to apply over my Dexcom G7s. I forget they're on, so no uncomfortable skin reactions. But the end of day ten, the edges have sometimes lifted, but the patch is still quite secure. So glad I found these!
Good protection for sensor, no irritation
My wife uses these for her Libre 2 blood sugar sensor. Each label is very sticky and waterproof making them last for the entire duration of the sensor. There are no issues reading the sensor through the patch and it hasn't irritated the skin at all.This has definitely stopped the sensors from being knocked off her arm and has been a good value for money. Each patch will last 1-2 weeks so one pack lasts a long time.
Worked AWESOME
I have tried multiple products over the years and this is the first product that has stayed on. I have been working outside in the heat and dirt. So definitely put the product through the pacesI did use the product Skin Tac to help. I have asked the company to send me a sample of the product this company recommends

I’ve tried a lot of adhesive patches over the years, and I can confidently say these are among the best I’ve used. They’re durable, skin-friendly & offer excellent value for the protection they provide.As a type 1 diabetic using the Libre 2 sensor, I’m active nearly every day. With treadmill workouts 5-6 days a week, followed by daily showers. Naturally, this puts a lot of stress on any patch I wear. Many patches begin to lift or peel within a few days. These ones, however, hold up incredibly well.Even with regular sweating, movement, & moisture exposure, they easily last around 10 days before the edges begin to flare out slightly which, in my experience, is excellent performance. That kind of durability gives me peace of mind knowing the sensor won’t get knocked off during exercise or while drying off post-shower.A few key highlights:• Waterproof & sweat-resistant – legit claims, not just marketing• Gentle on skin – I’ve had no irritation, even with sensitive skin• Pre-cut & easy to apply• Discreet tan colour – blends in nicely, nothing flashyOverall, highly recommended for anyone looking for reliable, high-performance protection for their glucose sensor. These are now my go-to patches & I’ll be sticking with them going forward (pun intended).
Great product but somewhat expensive
This is the only patch I have found that stays on for the entire 14 days and is non irritating to the skin. The center disk covers the sensor and allows the removal of the patch without damage should the unlikely need arise. They are not cheap at 1.50 per patch but the extra money is worth not having to change it every couple of days and not getting the irritation line on my arm that lasts for days.
