They work extremely well. We originally planned to mount them on the inside frame and hang draperies on rods, but we were so please with the look we decided to forgo the curtains. My middle-school aged son has a space themed bedroom, but because he'll be in high school soon, I didn't want "little kid" curtains. The gray works well because the sheen almost gives it a metallic sheen (perfect for space-theme).

This is a very upscale looking Roman shade. I really like how the mechanism is akin to a cordless roller shade in how it operates. I have had no problem getting it to stay at the length that I want.If you're looking for light blocking, you probably want to do an inside mount as it does hang more than an inch away from the window. With the regular roller shade you can mitigate this by hanging it so the shade iscloser to the window but with this l the handle and mechanism would be visible inside the house. It's good too as an outside Mount but make sure you order with extra width to help block more light.

The shade got stuck in the “down” position and won’t roll back up even with troubleshooting. This is very poor value for the money. Unable to contact seller for refund or replacement.

Two best features of the ECLIPSE faux silk roman window shades include 1)the fabric, which is thick and silky, looks very elegant, and 2) the chance to fit it perfectly for your specific window due to a large selection of width options. I also like the gray color a lot.The blackout is complete, I put it in the corner room, that gets the light form the street and the neighbors, and gets more noise as well. I am happy with the result, the installation was easy enough, though we have all the necessary tools. It can be steamed a bit for a smooth look.Recommend.

I ordered this roman shade in the indigo color. I am quite impressed with the color which is not too brilliant and not dull, just the right shade (no pun intended). The fabric is good quality as is the entire mechanism. Installation is quite simple especially if you have installed any type of shade before. The cordless mechanism works well and give a tidy look to the overall install.

This roman shade is so pretty and well made. The fabric is thick and blocks most of the sunlight from the window. I love that it is cordless. It raises and lowers very easily. No problems with the installation as it was very straightforward.
