This should be titled survival stories while hunting. Gave to a teenager who is starting to hunt and he was disappointed. Expected amazing stories of pursuing game, but instead this is a book of surviving when then go wrong when afield, and all are not even while hunting.

This is an interesting book about the risks involved in hunting. Some of the interesting information that the author of this book mentions in this book include the following information: There is an inherent risk of finding oneself stranded alone in the wilderness or being viciously attacked by a dangerous wild animal with no one to help. Many hunters will not actually wear life jackets while on a boat hunting. A life jacket can work wonders to save a person's life should the person fall into frigid waters. The possibility of falling into an ice-cold lake is one of the biggest risks that waterfowl hunters face.
