I couldn't understand why my oil pressure was reading MAX, with no engine noise, but only sometimes reading the max 80.I figured it was my sensor after a bit of researching and decided to replace it. I underestimated the difficulty of getting to it. Lesson learned.The new part is phenomenal. I have had no wild readings after driving with it around 3 weeks now. I recommend removing your oil filter and air intake for better access to the location. Mine was on the passenger side waaaaay back in the back. It was easier for me to work under and behind the wheel to get to it due to my short arms and lack of knowing what I was doing. Wires are a hassle to work around.TLDR; Overall the part is perfect and what I needed but don't underestimate the difficulty of getting to it before you start the job.

The part was wrong. Prior to removing the old one I went to AutoZone and asked to see the same part. The pin connector was wrong and the thread was way too wide to fit. Maybe for a wrangler or truck/Suv but not for a 2013 Chevy Malibu 2.5L.
