I needed a hook to pull my dolphin robo vac out of the pool and found this product. I know it says it's not for the dolphins robo vacs but it works perfectly.It does fit the standard aluminum vacuum poles and locks in tight. It's very light and does have some flex when lifting the dolphin out of the water but it doesn't feel like it will break.Very simple to use as you slid into the pole and push in the locking balls just like your nets or vac heads.I am using this on the dolphin Cayman pool vac and it grabs the handle of the vac perfectly and hasn't slipped off once.I would buy again and two family members have bought ones for there robo vacs with the same experience as mine.

Before I got this I would try and hook the ring with the end of the pool brush which did not always work that good. I put this on an old pool pole I had that was short (It doesn't need to be too long) and now I can retrieve the pool cleaner with no problems at all. Fits right on a standard pool pole. Pretty simple not much to say other than it work for what is is meant to do.

I have a new robotic pool vacuum and purchase this hook to pull the vacuum out of the pool. It works really well but, isn't quite as sturdy as I had anticipated. I'm giving it a 4 star until I use it more. I'd like to make sure it doesn't break. If it makes it through the season, I'll change it to a five star.

I received this item through the Vine program.The item arrived within a couple of days in an Bolo bag. It was safely wrapped in plastic, and arrived in fine condition. This hook is for getting a pool vacuum out of the pool. Instead of risking the hoses detaching, you can use this hook to snag the handle on the vac, and safely retrieve it for cleaning or other servicing.The hook is black plastic, about 8 or 9 inches long. It has the 2 push in prongs on one end for attaching into a standard pool pole. The prongs are plastic, and could wear out if you need to change the pole attachment frequently. The other end of course is the hook. The curve of the hook is enough to hold a handle, but not too tight to work around it. The hook seems sturdy, solid plastic with no flex. The attachment might become brittle in the sun or from pool chemicals, but not for at least a few years.This hook will certainly get a workout at our house, so I will update if anything happens besides landing a Hayward lol
