Furthermore, my house is approximately 3,800 square feet and is "L-shaped". As a result, I was skeptical that, despite other high reviews, that this unit would be able to keep up. Happily, I was very wrong.When I first plugged in this unit, it registered 67 percent relative humidity with my a/c thermostat showing 74 degrees. Within 5 hours, the water drainage bucket (about a gallon) was full, so the machine beeped and shut itself off but the humidity had dropped to 40 percent. I emptied out the reservoir and restarted the power and it again filled the bucket with the humidity reading now at where I set it - 35 percent!After a day or so, I grew weary of emptying the tank, so took a 3/4 inch drill through my 8" concrete wall and inserted a piece of PVC with what is normally used as a coupling on each side of the pipe to hold it in place. I connected the included hose to the back of the unit and ran the line through the pipe to drain harmlessly outdoors. Now, I site here smugly and comfortable smiling and cool as a cheshire cat in a house that's constantly running between 33 and 35 percent humidity.The ONLY reservation I have about this is that, despite it's award-winning energy efficiency rating, is the power use. I was surprised to learn that if you run this 24/7, it will add about $50-$70 per month to my electric bill. But, I suppose that's a lot less expensive that dealing with mold and mildew on clothes, furniture, and drywall. And that's not anything that's the fault of this product or its manufacturer - it's just the nature of the beast.Are you thinking of a high quality dehumidifier that really works? Buy this one. If it works for me in mold-prone central Florida, it will almost assuredly work for you.

The unit performed well taking the moisture from the area. Options for drainage with hose or manual trap empty. The collection tray is easy to empty and an alert occurs when full. Maintenance is simple on the unit, even has reminder to clean the filter screen. For any issues customer support is supportive to work with and prompt with feedback. I personally would recommend purchase and quality of product.

We purchased this dehumidifier about a year ago after much research and deliberation. To be fair, I didn’t review it when we purchased because we were renovating our home and this was just running in the background. It did its job. Fast forward to recent days when we started using the built-in catch tank (previously we had been using the drain hose) and we noticed the unit leaking. I didn’t expect much help from the manufacturer at this point but they were easy to reach, quick to reply, and when our unit couldn’t pass some basic trouble shooting, they’ve offered to send a new one. 4/5 stars for function and 5/5 for customer service.

Would recommend this brand to everyone! They went above and beyond anything they needed to do. Almost made me cry!Had some issues with the first dehumidifier we bought and emailed them. Just wouldn’t work nor lights coming on. This was in December for Christmas when we had more than normal cold weather. Said to wait 24 hours before turning on. We did and nothing. Let them know but other life issues in the way so took some time. Eventually packed up and returned to them. They sent a new one before they even got the returned one.Got the new one and some lights turned on but nothing. Had more life stuff get in the way. Mainly hospitalizations at Duke. Sent them a message and told them I didn’t blame them for not accepting this one back. They were so understanding!!Anyway, thought I would plug up and just tell them what was happening. It worked!! Not sure if very jostled around in transport or what, but it worked and is working now!Just very compassionate people! If anyone else has had problems, just let them know. Giving a score of 10/10 for customer support!!

We have had multiple dehumidifers in the past but this one surpasses them all! It is so much more compact and you can hardly hear it operating--it is sooo quiet. We started it up and it collected a full load of water in less than 24 hours. We are just so pleased with this appliance and profusly thank Bolo for having it for sale, and, the price was very reasonable, plus delivered to our door by a nice delivery person. We could not live so well without Bolo and we thank you.

I received my dehumidifier last season and it worked great. However, after attempting to use it this season, there was an issue. I contacted Customer Support using the email option. Service was excellent! Quick replies and an offer te replace my dehumidifier. I truely hope the next one works for many years. This was excellent customer service!

I bought this dehumidifier about a year ago, and it has worked perfectly.Unfortunately, it stopped working a week ago, and I contacted customer service. They asked me to do a short troble shooting procedure to identify the problem. After this they offered me a brand new one at no extra cost for me. Excellent customer service from kesnos.com.

The dehumidifier is a nice size and is easy to use. The humidity reading is big and easy to see. The unit also runs very quiet, too, which is nice. I wish the hose was longer for the continuous flow, though. I had some issue with icing of the coils, but customer service was very responsive and are helping me to get a replacement. I really appreciate their help and support to work with me on this. Excellent customer service!

My finished basement is maybe 1200sqft.....I assumed this unit was over sized for my needs. After a week of use the unit cannot get the humidity level below 47% ......its set for 40%? I had a different manufacturer model for several years which gave up the ghost so i needed a new unit. It worked very well. After a year it sounds like a tank....very noisy.

The JD025D-80 Kesnos Dehumidifier was a Great purchase for us. We had looked at other models but decided on the JD025D-80 because of it’s sleek minimalistic appearance and function, and once we started using it we were equally impressed with it’s performance. It quickly reduces the humidity in our basement to whatever level we set it at and then automatically stops. We also appreciate that it’s quiet, easy to maneuver and the water tank is easy to remove and dump. We highly recommend it.
