I’ve used the intensive baum version for years as a facial night cream. My skin is normal but I use tretinoin so I can get flakiness and irritation. And it’s beneficial to use the richest moisturizer you can handle at night (assuming you don’t have issues like acne which could be triggered). This version absorbs quickly but is effective. The intensive Baum is thicker and leaves an occlusive film. Bioderma advertises their products accurately so I can trust the label and who it says it’s for. This is a great daytime moisturizer not too rich that it’s greasy but not too light that it’s ineffective. This is a great starting point if you are unsure what you want. I suspect these moisturizers are so good bc they use mineral oil which is a great softening and protective ingredient. Alot of brands like cetaphil and cerave are too wet, take too long to absorb and dry up on the skin overnight! These bioderma lotions stick around and the 24hr + moisture promises are legit.

Love the lotion its great. My baby had dry skin and we've tried many products but they never worked. When his peds doctor introduce us to Atoderm, within the first two days it worked. His skin was softening up, and no more dry patches. I use this myself also, & I love it.

5/5 for the packaging. This arrived well packaged and no broken parts. It was delivered with care.Finally found some relief from dry, itchy skin!! This Ultra cream is fragrance-free and really soothes my dry, itchy skin. It supposedly has beneficial ingredients that help restore the skin barrier. Feels a little sticky due to the complex sugar compounds.One negative point is that this version feels quite diluted and watery than what I remember using 2-3 years back when I had bought this at Costco. The price has also gone up quite a bit.Update : while the first bottle was good, the second bottle cap had a small cracked bit which possibly had contaminated the lotion inside. It had a moldy smell and caused hives. So make sure to check both bottles when they arrive.
