3.0 out of 5 stars DIFFICULT TO FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS
I had my new dash cam professionally installed, but I immediately began to experience problems with it. I tried and tried to follow the steps in the User Manual, but was still encountering issues. I tried reaching out to Minolta through the site noted on the manual and the only response was, "we'll get back to you." I tried again, and then a third time. Their website gives you an option for how you want them to contact you; I chose via phone, but they emailed me. I asked for a phone call again, and I was ignored. Finally, after sending them a heated message, I got a phone call from Josh. Josh was incredibly helpful, patient, and knowledgable, and helped me to fix all the issues. So far, the camera is working great and I'm happy with it. Their User Manual is very difficult to follow, but hopefully, I won't need to use it any more. The video quality seems to be pretty good, and it's a good value for the money. They definitely need to spruce-up their customer service procedures though!

We replaced an existing rear camera/dash cam. It was so much easier to install than the original. We did have to purchase an extension cable for the rear camera.The performance is good, the video quality is pretty good, and it is intuitive.All-in-all, I would recommend this device.

So after I installed it, I noticed that the battery wouldn't charge. This is an issue because every time you turn off the car, the date/time resets itself. Also the parking sensor doesn't work so if you are hit while parked it doesn't activate.Then after a few days, it just quit working at all.

Junk. Stopped working after 2 months. Kept saying the card was full then I could not even access the menu. Also, the internal battery will not charge. Junk. Avoid at all cost.
