I BOUGHT THIS SET NOT REALLY HAVING MUCH CONFIDENCE THEY WOULD HOLD UP AFTER READING SEVERAL REVIEWS ABOUT THE MATERIAL OF THE PRODUCTS BEING MADE OF CHEAP PLASTIC AND NOT LASTING LONG OR DOING THE JOB. I REALLY ONLY NEEDED A BRUSH BECAUSE I HAD PUT MY GIRLS BRUSH UP SOMEWHERE AND COULD NOT FIND IT. THE BRUSH I HAVE HAD AND USED FOR YEARS WAS A 30-40.00 LARGE SIZE FURminator Long Hair Dog Deshedding Tool. MY DOG WOULD LET ME BRUSH HER WITH IT BUT NOT VERY LONG. SHE WOULD DECIDE SHE HAD ENOUGH AND STAND UP TO WALK AWAY. BUT OF COURSE THIS TYPE OF BRUSH IS A HARD METAL FOR RAKING. WHEN I OPENED UP THE BOX I WAS REALLY IMPRESSED. ,ALL THESE TOOLS FOR AROUND 20.00. I IMMEDIATELY WENT OVER TO MY FUR BABY AND STARTED BRUSHING HER TO SEE WHAT SHE WOULD THINK OF IT. AND AGAIN, WOW! SHE ABSOLUTLEY LOVED THE FEELING OF THIS BRUSH. I BRUSHED HER FOR A LONG WHILE. IT RELAXED HER SO MUCH ONCE I FINISHED. SHE COULDNT HOLD HER EYES OPEN AND IMMEDIATELY FELL ASLEEP SO WAS SOO RELAXED. I AM COMPLETELY SOLD. I WISH I HAD COME ACROSS THIS SET EARLIER. THE BRUSH IS EASY TO USE AND GENTLE YET EFFECTIVE FOR DESHEDDING. MAKES HER COAT SHINY. SO EASY TO REMOVE THE HAIR FROM THE BRUSH. AS FAR AS THE PRODUCT MATERIAL. I HONESTLY DONT SEE A PROBLEM WITH IT. MAKES IT EASIER AND LIGHTER.. MORE COMFORTABLE TO HOLD. I CANNOT SEE THESE JUST BREAKING UNLESS YOU ARE BEING VERY ROUGH WITH THEM OR THE DOG GETS A HOLD AND CHEWS THEM UP. I DEFINITY RECOMMEND THIS SET. TOTALLY WORTH THE MONEY. THEN SOME. YOUR DOG WILL LOVE BEING BRUSHED WITH THIS BRUSH. JUST BUY IT.

WOW!!!I have a German shedder.. These 2 brushes I have used, haven't tried the rubber thing, but the amount of fur that I got off of my girl has shocked me. I am still skeptical about the one brush and I'm not sure what it is actually called, but the one that has the metal hook teeth. I'm not sure if it is breaking, cutting, or ripping the hair out or if it's just getting the shedding hair out. I spray her fur lightly with water before I brush her, and I normally do not have a problem with her fur, but with the one I am talking about, as I went to run it through down her back, it surprised us both because of the tug. She doesn't have tangled or matted fur either. So I'm not going to use the one until I find out what exactly it's doing to her hair. The retractable brush is awesome. So easy to clean and it gets a whole lot off of her. It also saves a lot of time, because you don't have to dig the hair out. They seem well made and have comfortable handles. All in all I think this was a great purchase and I would definitely recommend. Especially if you have a dog with lots of shedding.

I usually don’t write reviews. But for anyone that has dogs that shed like crazy, this is the set you need. I have a GS and of course the amount of hair we deal with is crazy! Nothing, and I mean nothing, comes close to this set here. I used the deshedding/dematting brush first. Within a few sweeps, I could already tell a difference. Finished up using the slicker brush to grab all the loose hair. First time I’ve ever groomed him myself or picked him up from a groomer and been able to look at him and tell a difference. Around his neck and backside was unbelievable. It’s nice to let him lay in my lap and let him without having a mountain of hair piled up when we get up. Makes such a difference. Ordering another one just to have a spare!

Dog approved! Both my dogs love the big brush and the rubber brush thing but the other one seems to sharp. One of my dogs has longer hair and the other shorter they both enjoy the big brush and the rubber brush thing but I will not try the other one as even picking it up it seems to sharp.

All I can say is “WOW”, and if you have a sweet GoldenBaby like ours- you definitely should get one. That pile of golden undercoat was produced after about 20 minutes of brushing using both the shedding and dematting tool and the slicker brush. The dog bath brush worked slick to pick up the loose hair from the carpet.If these come back in stock - GET IT

This product has helped us so much. We brush our baby's fur before a bath and it doesn't get so messy. Also we brushed his fur every week because it helps him. It is so nice that the brush keeps all the fur so we don't have a mess in the floor.

I have a Husky & a Belgian - because of the husky, I sweep everyday & it's still tumbleweeds all over the house! This brush has helped him especially in the summer so much!!! We keep it by the door & he knows he gets brushed everyday & he doesn't cry like he used to- it's gentle but still gets the fur & undercoat! Do yourself a favor & get the brush!!

We have a 140 lb lab mix and he was looking shaggy!!! I’ve tried the furminator brush but it wasn’t doing much. I got this one and it really got to the undercoat and he looks like a new dog. Very shiny and sleek now! The slicker brush didn’t help him much either but I have another dog we will use that one on.
