Can be a little confusing to pick up because there are so many different rules but overall very fun. It’s become a family favorite amongst the younger kids, and even the adults of my family can find it entertaining. Design and pieces are cute and well made.

My husband originally won this during a raffle and we brought it to a a get-together as a fun activity for friends and family. We played it for days on end and ended up purchasing and this version along with and expansion pack for friends who loved the game.We found it to be a great game for both adults and teenagers, and hours worth of fun!

We ALL really enjoyed this game. Game play is a lot like the old card game War. Easy for my 6yr old to follow along with only minimal help reading the "instant" cards (which she pretty much memorized by our 3rd go around). My older boys (10&12) have taken turns bringing the game to school to play at recess everyday since we got it! They get a real kick outta the "cute but kinda evil" themes these games have. I think they are adorably funny! Games finish pretty quickly. We enjoy "best-outta-three" sessions so everyone has a chance to win! They also have a game play tutorial up on Youtube if anyone is struggling with understanding the rule book. I definitely recommend this game and will be going back to try some of the others!!

This is my first "encounter" with the concept of a mystery box. I was suspicious at first, but I gave it a try and I loved it.The figures were very nice. They are a bit small, but I believe that was advertised. The execution of the 3D artstyle to bring life from the card game was implemented very well and it is safe to say I am impressed. The mystery concept is nice but making two exceptionally rare at such a high price point was ever so slightly questionable. It turns out the rarity of the 2 mystery ones are 1/18 as opposed to an equal 1/10. I was fortunate that the two undamaged boxes I got so happened to be the mystery ones, but I worry for others who want it as there is no affordable guaranteed method of getting them.Even the box art alone was impressive and I wanted to keep that in clean condition. Which is particularly frusterating that these boxes are so small and fragile that they easily get damaged since they are sent in huge boxes with plenty of space for them to fly around in transit. A good bit of the boxes of the ones I ordered were damaged in shipping. I didn't open them so I could not tell if the figure inside was damaged as well. However, this is not an issue with the product itself, so no points will be deducted. Please just heed the warning.The promotional cards had a nice finish on top of their amazing art which is a nice detail, but makes it clearly different from the rest of the deck when playing the game. The player is either forced to sleeve it (and all the other cards) or exclude it from the game to not know where it is at all times.To those whom it may concern, the promotional cards works as a luck card from the hazards ahead expansion. From what I understand, its purple background signifies it is a disaster card, and is played like one. However, its effects give the player a break.Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase as they are cute. From the figure itself, to the box, and the card, it all looks so gracious. With the card being able to enhance the game, that was an additional bonus that was very sweet of them to include.

My family loves this game. I have young boys who enjoy reading the captions on the cards & playing the game. The design of the game is captivating. We love how quickly you can get through a round and find ourselves playing several rounds in one sitting. It's fun for all!

Happy Little Dinosaurs is one of our favorite card games to play with family and friends. The artwork is adorable, and the cards are super funny... and the Dating Disasters expansion cards are no exception! We were laughing our way through every round! Definitely worth adding to the deck, if you already enjoy the base game!
Good gift and nice, quick games
The game is super simple, it's very easy to understand for anyone, even people who aren't big fans of board games.The pieces look very nice too, the wood and colors are super cute ! The artwork is also extremely cute, both on the cards and character (dino) board. Some of the cards are pretty funny too.Games are pretty short and fun, both at 2 and 4 players. I'd say it's a good game for game night with friends who like simpler, not too strategic, games.The box is also pretty small, so it's easy to carry around when travelling or visiting friends. All the pieces fit nicely and easily in the box.
