The included sets of acrylic crystal and traditional media are appreciated. Installation was very easy. The only downside is the frustrating "Flame Connect" phone app setup, account requirement, and lack of smart home automation support. I hope Dimplex will integrate MATTER in a firmware upgrade. This would allow many popular home automation apps to control the fireplace over WiFi, removing the need for Dimplex's awful proprietary app.

this is my 2nd Dimplex. first was the ignite which I love love !!! this is the evolve which i got as it was the newer model and had WiFi. the wifi really doesn’t give you anything worth having and the big disappointment is the evolve is not NEAR as bright as the ignite. Im really bummed about that. prob would not buy and should have just gotten another Ignite. oh well :-/

Simple, very excited, built wall and professionally installed. Does not work. They said I could send back, but really? Once it’s out of the box and all the packaging due to its size extremely challenging to rebox and send back and wait to get another one.They are sending parts and could be a month to fix. I mean…grrrr.Should be some sort of additional discount or some other offer. This is very expensive unit plus install and building wall and could not enjoy with Christmas tree. All we had is jokes about seeing our feet in the mirrored glass.
