I bought this to defrost a Samsung ice maker (IYKYK) and quickly realized how useful it is for cleaning! Great assortment of nozzles.

Pros: puts out good steam, enough accessories for our needs, inexpensive, ruggedCons: takes a bit of practice/learning to use well, small water reservoirWe used this steamer for a number of cleaning jobs, and for most things it did a great job. We had a couple of large jobs that required refilling and reheating the steamer many times. The process nearly doubled the time required to finish the job. If you have large jobs for your steamer, get a bigger steamer (it probably won't be handheld). Although we didn't purchase this to clean grout in our shower, my wife tried it out and declared it a failure. I don't think that is the fault of the steamer. After trying it myself, it appears to me that it is unreasonable to expect that you can return grout to a like-new appearance with a steamer. If you just want to kill mildew, that is a job it should do.

Got to use it one time to clean a sink and mirror area of the bathroom when I got it. Emptied, followed all instructions, didn't even use max fill line. 2nd time using today, doesn't work. Steam coming out sides, top, button/handle area and back of device but not the nozzle. Piece of trash.

I have one of these (in orange) that I use for disinfection cleaning in my kitten foster room and I love it. That one works great and is very easy to wield one-handed and only needs a little pressure from your thumb to release a good amount of steam. My only note on the orange one: it would be great if there was some way to see how much water was remaining in it. Four stars on the orange one!Anyway, I decided to get another one for general household cleaning, just in a different color to help differentiate them. That one is green and I am already on my second one because of a defect with the trigger button. I returned the first green one immediately, as it was almost impossible to use safely. To get any steam out of it, you had to hold it with both hands, press the whole unit down on the floor or other hard surface and squeeze the trigger for dear life. That would be useless for most tasks. I returned it for a replacement (green again) which seemed to work like my original orange one...for about a week. Now it too is demanding Herculean hand strength to trigger the steam. 0 stars on the green one!TLDR avoid the green ones, they are cursed.

Worked well though the window attachment with squeegee was worthless..that being said you can use it to melt dirt grime and sapโฆthen wipe down with a microfiber and itโs clean. Still playing with all the different applications to use itโฆbut it steamed my granite counters well. Also window tracks. If it lasts it should be good for years.

I like that this has a pressure cap similar to what you would find on a pressure cooker that alerts you to the hot steam inside before you try and open it. The steam pressure was generous! I initially bought this to remove plastic laminate called Diamond Shield from the front of my Motor home. However, I have spot cleaned carpets and my favorite recliner (that I share with my 95 lb Rottweiler) with great ease and success! I will try it soon to remove wrinkles from some drapery and two pairs of pants...The photos show the headway I made after 4 hours with a regular heat gun trying to remove this plastic stone guard and with little success. I will update this review after I have removed the laminate using the steamer.
