My husband will be using this in a little different use than most, as a safety lanyard when tree stand hunting. He bought an industrial harness as most of the tree stand harnesses tend to be a little lighter duty then he would like. He’s not fat but is a big guy so relying on gear that’s rated near his size isn’t what he wants to do, especially since 90% he’s solo in the woods.This safety lanyard seems super heavy duty and we know it will perform way better than any of the hunting classed ones he already has. The clips are very heavy duty and secure and the fray resistant nylon webbing should hold up well against the bark of trees. Hopefully he’ll never know how well it functions but we both feel if that need ever arises then this should hold just fine.

The TRSMIMA Safety Harness Lanyard Retractable - Fall Protection Climbing Tree Strap 6 FT Single Leg Internal Shock Absorbing with Dual Snap Hooks is a very strong and durable safety lanyard. It's easy to snap in and out of and allows for quick movement when needed. Its outer sleeve resists fraying and abrasion very well and is not prone to grabbing getting caught up on branches. The gates on the snap hooks work very well with positive closing operation. This lanyard gives me the peace of mind I need to work high off the ground. The quality of its materials, hardware and its manufacture along with proper care and maintenance will keep this lanyard providing good service for years. I'm extremely satisfied with the quality and performance of the TRSMIMA Safety Harness Fall Protection Lanyard and consider it an outstanding value in safety equipment!

This TRSMIMA safety lanyard is designed for protecting against free falls. The difference is that fall arresting harness can stretch and reduce the dangers of sudden shock to the body from non-stretchable cables, chains, and lines. Be sure to use the proper safety harness! Or you may suffer spine, nerve, bone damage.The unit's components are first rate. The steel clips have a safety release, and the stretching 'rope' is sheathed for protection from damage.I am so relieved to have ordered this for my own safety when working on a steep roof, or when climbing a risky trail due to weather conditions. A famous photographer died last year in the Pacific coast when he slipped and fell to his death on a dangerous trail. Had he been strapped in with a fall arresting harness, he'd still be alive.
