Obviously my expectations were low, I was really just getting it for the mill table setup because I have another head basically that I was gonna use. Set it up just because a figured let’s try it out. I mean WOW! I couldn’t be happier. This is very small, not a full size or medium size at all. I used it to finish out some lower receivers which are solid chunks of Aluminum, I had already gotten some bits from Bolo. It was very precise accurate and did its job. You obviously have to take your time and go slow, but I am not in a hurry. Would be great for craft/small projects and you can also set it up as a sideways mill. I would definitely recommend it so far!!

This does seem to be a well made and elegant tiny mill/drill. I did not realize it was not in the United States when I placed the order; a bailment notice of import customs release was my first clue. This became important when I discovered there was no "owners manual" in the box. My first question was about the collet used: was it a standard (ER-8 etc.)? As it only came with a single 6mm collet, it is hard to drill a 3mm hole or use a 1/8" end mill with that limitation. Since there was no set of collets, I was hoping the owners manual would answer that question, as well as, how to replace the drive belt, etc.I contacted Bolo Customer Service. They assured me the manufacturer would contact me by e-mail within 72 hours. Those hours and days more passed without any contact except Bolo's customer service (likely offshore "AI") telling me on three occasions to watch the product video... which, of coarse, is a sales pitch answering none of my questions; customer service never seemed to understand the issues. Though the overwhelming majority of my many Bolo purchases are quite satisfactory, this is one of only a few that were shadowed. Since I have only rarely written similar reviews, I am curious to see if Bolo publishes this; they refused in the past. If this is published, the reader can use it in their buying decision, as they see fit. Best wishes, "Seasoned Maker" in Colorado.
