For years I dismissed beard electric shavers all together because I could not get close shaving, that was the main reason.20 days ago I bough Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor.Here is my feedback, I hope this helps those who are trying to figure out if they should buy one.I did extensive research before purchasing one, I wanted one that can give me very close shave, be at ease with sensitive skin and not get bumps but also size is a factor for me. Also one that would be reasonable cost $$.After researching and comparing all the different models it came down to two brands that have very good close shave especially under the neck area, that was always my problem reason why I did like not older models and stayed with traditional.I chose Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor for Men over runner up Panasonic Arch5/9 Series because of the size, I found the Panasonic tends to be a bit bulky. but both brands and models deliver the most close shave over all other brands and models. Again this I am referring to beard shave, other body parts such as head etc.. is a whole different topic.So far I am very happy with Braun Series 9 PRO+ Electric Razor,Model I have is 9567ccProsI used normally shave every other days, in some cases 3-4 days but by then my face starts to each,Now, it is so convenient I can shave any time, on the go, while working etc...I have tried both dry and wet, I found that dry working better, and not messy,Cleaning is very simple, mine came withe the charger cleaning all in-one, I have only used that once to clean, after shaving I normally just do quick clean withe the brush included.Noise is medium, not to loud,Battery seems to be very good, I only charged few times in the last 20 days.Size, I still would want it to be smaller but still smaller than others, others that are known brands, not talking about some cheap/copy.Close shaving, as close as traditional but not quite 100% there yet I will give it 98%... quite happy withe the closeness I am getting.Price - mid pricing, there is aways sale going, so its good to keep an eye and by on sale.ConOther than its a bit pricey I have no complaint with unit.The all in-one charger/cleaner is a bit large, I hope that could be made smaller in future,I hope this helps.

Does a great job at a quick shave and also holds a decent amount of charge (more than I’ll ever need). It lasted a 3-week business trip for me with plenty to spare. The noise is no different from my previous generation Braun electric razor. Although the washing station is quite loud.The shave isn’t as close as a manual shaver, of course, but this good for people with sensitive skin, compared to my experience with the arc.

I purchased this for my husband. He loves it! He finds it shaves closer than an electric razor he has ever had. He has absolutely no skin irration or razor burn with this razor. He highly recommends this razor.

For 20 years, I’ve been using a top-of-the-line Panasonic (new one about every 10 years) I ordered a replacement and it wasn’t as good as the older one, so I sent it back and bought this Braun. What a difference. This thing is worth the extra money.

The best shaver ever. We own the Series 7 that still works perfectly and is 12 years old however it was time to upgrade to the 9 Pro+. Exactly as advertised.

One star off because it's so expensive, and because the cleaning cartridges send some plastic to the landfill - but it is clearly the best shaver - electric or manual - I've ever had. No nicks, no manual cleaning, smooth as a blade, fast. I love it.

Amazing quality & improvement over the old series 7

Bought this to replace my old Series 7 which has given great service for many years.This shaver is much quieter and smoother in operation than the old series 7.The shave was closer, smoother than my old series 7 and did not catch/pull at all.I shaved my whole face (three days of growth) in a much shorter time than ever before with the old series 7.Well Done Braun!Also, neither the new cleaning station nor series 9 pro+ shaver leave any LEDs on after it has settled. More energy efficient and soothing to the eyes in a dark bathroom at night.(My old series 7 had a bright blue LED on all the time and lit up the bathroom at night.)A great improvement and well worth the price. Braun make very good quality equipment and it lasts for years.

Huge improvement over my old Series 5

I bought this as a replacement for my aging Braun Series 5 Model 8000 that I bought when it first came out. At the time, it was pretty much the top of the line and it has served me well for many, many years. Aside from the clipper in back, which finally snapped, it still works, though it really shows its age. Over the years, I replaced the blades and foil many times and I decided that the next time I needed to replace the foil & cutter assembly, I'd just get a brand new razor.I expected the Series 9 Pro+ to be an improvement, but I was surprised by how big of an improvement it is. I deliberately didn't shave for a few days just before receiving the razor, to put it to the test. The Series 5 would have been uncomfortable at this length and I would normally have done a pass with the clipper first to give it a hand. I gave the Series 9 no chance and set it straight to the days-old beard, and it went through so smoothly that, for a second, I wondered if the foil had just slid over my beard, but no. The beard was gone where the razor passed. I was quite impressed.Now, while this is the best electric razor I've ever tried, it still doesn't stand up to a fresh razor blade. The shave isn't as close as a blade (and we shouldn't really expect it to be), and while the first pass does a good job, I need to do multiple passes to get my skin feeling smooth, especially in the throat area. But it's still fast and comfortable. I alternate between a blade when I show my face to people, and the electric razor on lazy days. This Series 9 will probably get a few shifts on non-lazy days.

Compré la 9 esperando que no meIrrite como la 7 y es loMismo, además tengo que utilizar después el rastrillo para afinar la rasurada.Recomiendo adquirir un soporte para escoba o trapeador como el que uso yo para la afeitadora. Comparto fotografía.
