Mine did not have the three-capacitor design shown in the picture, but it did have a lower firmware on it and I was able to add custom firmware to it so that I could go 33mph. I am pleased! 10/10.

Doesn't have 3 capacitors and is used based on the fact that the wires are cut! Buyer beware of this seller!!

This controller works great and finally isn't a ripoff XBOT controller like other sellers have. It also is the 3 capacitor design which I've heard is better. It shows up and pairs to the Segway app perfectly. When installing, just make sure you take off the protective plastic film on the blue thermal adhesive at the bottom. I almost missed that.It comes with firmware 1.2.7. I haven't tried flashing custom firmware on it yet, but I suspect it will work great too.The only issue I had is the wires going to the XT60 power connector were a little loose and backed out when I plugged them into the battery. Just make sure you hold the back of the wires when you plug the connector in the battery connector so the wires don't come out.Edit: It flashed perfectly using Scooter Hacking Utility. It might fail the flash a couple times, but just keep trying.

Easy swap. Correct color coding. Top speed is 32kmh now with no slowing with battery discharge. One battery bar still pushes to 30kmh. Firmware updates went through just fine. Note, that older firmware 1.2.xx (default) may make controller run rear wheel with annoying high pitch noise, update to 1.8.11 resolves this issue. No hassling with hacking tools. Recommend.

It looks like this is the original part. It has 3 capacitors instead the big one, it sais ninebot and the other 2 codes on the back and it's the only one that has the brown wire not the green. The original has the brown wire too. So far it works perfect for me.
