I bought this for an elderly couple that I live with. They were using old fashioned ice trays, and he was having trouble refilling and stacking them in the freezer. I had brought this to their attention some time ago, and they of course said, "nawww.. We don't neeed that!" Well? I got it for them anyway, and it is absolutely a blessing!1. Shipment was very fast.2. It was packed, and received well.3. It took literally 3 minutes to set up.A few minutes after I added water to the tank, it began to do its thing. We all had fun watching in amazement how it would fill up the tray (2 sizes available) and dump them into its bin as if some robot was inside.The ice cubes are soft enough for her to sit and chew on them all day, as they don't get as cold as regular freezer cubes. It also has to do with the shape. They dissolve almost immediately in water or soda etc. but leave it nice and cold. It's good for about 3 to 4 people to get a fair amount of ice for their drink, and it instantly starts up the process of making more. It's very sparing on the water, so we have to maybe fill it once a day, but again.... It is used CONSTANTLY. It's quiet, it's easy for anyone to use, and it works fast.We have freed up a large amount of space in the freezer, and I don't have to worry about any of them falling on ice or water that spills on the floor.I would wholeheartedly recommend this for anyone's office, or home. You WILL find a need for it! It doesn't produce a huge amount, but it produces enough, and fast enough.

Our fancy refrigerator makes lots of ice when it's cooler outside but fails miserably during the scorching California weather. A friend suggested getting a tabletop icemaker like she used in her camper. After hours of research, I decided on this model and I am happy with my selection!The unit is quiet and tucks nicely into a corner on my counter. It makes ice very quickly and automatically shuts off when the tray is full or the water level is too low. I like to place the full basket of ice into a flat bottom bowl and then transfer the ice into a storage bag when I get the next full basket. This allows the ice to harden and I can tap the bowl to separate any pieces before pouring the ice into the storage container.

The media could not be loaded. Very efficient, little ice maker. It makes very nice size ice. Just don’t forget to clean it regularly.The only bad part for that is it is a little bit too loud. Besides that it’s a really good ice machines.Black color makes it smooth, and the clear lid helps you to see if you have ice or not.The display on top helps you to see if you need to fill it with water or not.We’ve even took it with us to vacation be Ayşe we don’t trust how good the ice machines are being cleaned at the hotels! Very convenient.

Only had for a little over a year and it has stopped working. Showing on top needs to put water in. There is water in it and not making ice. Power on fine. Nothing won't make ice. Piece of junk.

This bad boy arrived just in time for a heat wave & didn't disappoint. Is it slow...kinda. But it absolutely works. I'd rather wait on ice then carry heavy bags from the store.I use spring water because our tap water tastes awful.

I was tired of using treys for our ice and wanted a more self sufficient solution. I liked the price range, reviews, and shape of the ice cubes. The first one received didn't work at all. I chatted with customer service and they quickly sent a replacement. The second one works and I've had it for a couple months now. It fits nicely on my counter without taking up too much space. It's a little noisy but not distracting. The shape of the ice is nice because it fits in my SodeStream bottles (narrow neck). It's easy to set up and use.However, the ice comes out wet. The instructions say to put in the freezer right away to avoid melting. I have taken them straight from being dispensed and put in the freezer, but no matter what they come out wet and eventually created giant blocks of ice.I also only use filtered water. But I noticed recently it's leaving brown marks where the water filters back into the reservoir. Not sure where that's coming from.
