*When remove the wire clips for electric wires from the painted wall, it is better to use a hair dryer to heat the backing tape several seconds to avoid pulling off the paint.

These clips are great when installed as instructed. The 3M glue must be given a few hours for adhesion, or they will not remain attached. On baseboard they keep extension cords off the floor from gathering dust and debris. Under the Model Railroad layout, they keep track and switch wiring organized.

I needed these to organize Ethernet cabling in my new townhouse, and im not even kidding you, the plastic comes off of the sticky part. So the sticky part stays on the wall but the plastic comes off. They tell you to wash or clean whatever surface you put it on but what’s the point if the sticky material can’t even hold onto the plastic clip???
