The instrument arrives reasonably well-packaged but with the usual barely useful instructions. Nice that the kit includes a tool to dismantle as well as a sicky-backed mounting holster and (for some odd reason) a micro sample bottle. Pippette works well, is smooth and easy to replicate dosages. Very happy! Mo0st of all, now I have a reliable, one-handed way to deliver liquid medicine into the cat's mouth.

This product is amazing and is one of the best tools I’ve Baugh from Bolo. My lab needed one since another broke and it needed to be replaced but this exceeded expectations of me as a scientists and my lab assistants.

I had so many problems with this pipette. The biggest issue is the accuracy is off anywhere from .1 to .3ml. That's a huge problem when accuracy is detrimental. The other very huge problem is only after a few uses the plunger would get stuck in the down position making it impossible for me to intake liquid.

Got it for lab work. Easy to work with. It come with two tips. It is pretty accurate based on my test. Work as described. The price is pretty competitive. I will recommend.

In our research lab, we use many micropipettes, so it's essential to have a durable and accurate instrument for our experiments. This pipette not only looks great but also appears to be of high quality and has an attractive design. It delivers precise volumes, and I appreciate that it is autoclavable. Overall, it functions well and is quite easy to use!

My entire working life, I used the “old-fashioned” glass pipettes and either a rubber bulb or my mouth to fill the pipette often for calibrating a fluorometer with Rhodamine WT® fluorescent dye. Now that I am retired, I had my chance to try an automatic and adjustable pipettor which would have sped up the entire calibration process. This pipettor was not bad but I noticed that the accuracy dropped off at volumes less than 2 mL. I tested the pipettor by dispensing different volumes into different graduated cylinders, my most accurate being a 10-mL cylinder. Prior to calibrating the pipettor, I found that the pipettor was dispensing about 10% higher than the “dialed-in” volume. Unfortunately, the manufacturer did not provide instructions on calibration, but they did include a calibration wrench and its design made it fairly clear how to use it. Once I figured this out, I was able to dispense volumes accurately, at least those greater than 2 mL. Finally, there was reference to “the first stop” and “the second stop”. I never did find this second stop unless the instruction meant to release the button and then depress it a second time to “blow out” any liquid remaining in the tip, if any.PROS• Reasonably accurate pipettor for volumes greater than 2 mL.• Pipettor can be calibrated using the provided wrench but once the dial is set below about 4 mL, you cannot easily insert the wrench to adjust the calibration.CONS• No calibration instructions were included.• Not particularly accurate for volumes below 2 mL.• Only one tip is provided but, presumably, additional tips that fit this pipettor can be purchased.• Confusion about the “first stop” and the “second stop”.
