When I saw this GoPro creator combo at a reduced price, I decided to go for it, and I'm glad I did. I had a feeling this would be perfect for making videos of area car shows, and for once, I was right. The video has been crisp, clear and sharp, with excellent color rendition. The stabilization is awesome, and makes the video look like it was shot with a camera/gimbal setup. I have taken some still photos too, and they have turned out surprisingly well. So far, I have had no issues with any malfunctions or shutdowns. This is likely a result of my use of the camera, as I tend to shoot many shorter clips, instead of one long shot in a static location. During use, the GoPro operates on its battery, but when off, it recharges from the Volta. When in use, it pairs with the Volta, which means I can use the Volta to operate the shutter or change shooting modes. In summary, everything works, and I couldn't be more pleased with the results. This has added a whole new dimension to my photo/video work!

Want a camera that is going to allow you to capture it all and is convenient to travel with, you have found what you have been looking for. I did not originally think the cost of this camera was something my wife and I needed for our cruise vacations. We bought a cheaper camera and while it did okay, we decided for the last cruise to upgrade to the GoPro. WOWWWWWWWWWWWW, best choice ever. The clarity of the video, the ease of tripod setup, crisp sound, just sharp, I just love this thing. The camera adjusts, allowing you to capture every angle wanted. I had no problem carrying it around on deck and didn't have to worry about big, bulky carrying cases. The package came with everything you needed to get started besides the memory stick. If you are wondering if the costs match the value the answer is YESSSSSSS!

I've been a GoPro fan for a few years. Was excited to get this creator's package and am *mostly* happy with it.Pros:The battery in the handle is pretty awesome! It allows you to record for much longer than the internal battery allows. I have yet to run dry on power while using the tripod/handle.Cons:The cover of the light is nice but comes off too easily. Would be nice for it to have a snap groove or band to help secure it to the light.This is DEF for action recording where the camera is in motion, not just the subject of the video. It is not ideal for recording an hour long workshop for work, or my kids' music concert, as it will overheat and shutdown after about 40-45 minutes.TIPS:Unplug the tripod from the camera when storing in your backpack/duffel/briefcase. The plug will bend and become loose if left plugged in to the camera while carrying in your bag.The internal battery on your camera does not charge from the handle while in use but it DOES recharge from the tripod battery when not in use. So, as you use your camera while attached and plugged in to the tripod, the battery indicator will show it draining (which it is) but should kick over to the tripod battery when the internal battery has drained.

Got this for my husband who is starting his YouTube channel. Now that I am starting one I stole his set up with the hand held tripod. Yes, get it! Just get it, you can thank me later! The picture quality is great! And it’s easy to transfer to your computer for editing. I love being able to see myself from the front!! I love that there is a battery pack as well. Gives me a lot more time to file.

I bought this GoPro for every day life and to record some of our adventures. While it was handy at at hotel pool and water park, it has been virtually useless for everything else. Just now I tried to use this GoPro to record a very important moment in our family's life and it overheated about one minute before the event. I didn't get the video. I had one chance, and this GoPro missed it. What is the point of having this device if it overheats and fails to capture what you need?The lens is very, very poor in low-light, which has led me to need to do a lot of post-production. I have needed to adjust white balance, brightness, and lighting using my video editing software. If you compare this to a camera such as the one on a Samsung Galaxy phone, you will see that low-light is the worst on GoPro. I recorded something outdoors in low-light on both GoPro Hero 12 and Samsung Galaxy S10e and the Galaxy S10e produced the only usable footage of the night. Everything on the GoPro is too dark and you cannot make out any detail or color. The cell phone picked up ambient light, color, and detail, while also maintaining top-notch sound, even with my hand blocking the microphone. No matter what settings you use, you will not get good low-light video from GoPro. Just forget it. You cannot get low-light video that's worth watching. You never will. Move on and pick a different camera.This camera gets one star because the horizon lock and horizon steady modes are pretty good when you're recording our own action. But if you were to say, record a child's sporting event, you might as well just record on a cell phone because the GoPro is so wildly unreliable and it still suffers from vertical steadying issues. Sure, you can lock the horizon, which is great, but you still need to pay attention to two addition axis, and your video will look only okay. I was trying to record something just now in my air-conditioned household, and the GoPro overheated and FAILED right at the last second, when I needed it most. For every application outside of the water or the need for horizon lock, this camera gets zero stars.I was exploring a cool, shady island and had done some recording earlier in the day. When I came across something I wanted to record on this island, the camera refused to turn on. I had to pull off the media mod, pull the battery, re-insert, and then try to turn it on again. I caught about half of what I wanted to see. Also, what I wanted to see was in the shade, so you can barely make out what I was recording. Absolutely useless.The case this kit comes with also belongs in the nearby dumpster. If you use this case, your equipment will just slide around and nothing will be protected. Expect dings, bumps, and zero organization if you use this case. I bought the separate GoPro Casey, which is actually worthwhile, but what's the use of having a good case if the camera belongs with a bunch of E.T. cartridges in a New Mexico dump?The foam for the media mod seems secure, but comes right off when you least expect it. I lost mine on the first day of use. GoPro fortunately replaced it, but I was on vacation, and was unable to reduce wind noise for the rest of my trip.If I could go back in time and never buy this absolute garbage, I would. I want a refund. This thing has not been suitable for recording with the exception of recording in water, which is like what, twice a year?It's not just the one moment this camera has missed. It's at minimum two once-in-a-lifetime events that I personally was ready to record, but this terrible GoPro Hero 12 Black hasn't been up to the challenge. This unreliable, hot-running camera is not suitable at all for any sort of content creator unless you're a diver or something. Just forget it and get something else. You might as well buy a used cell phone and record on that because the GoPro will not be there for you. I cannot recommend this camera for any occasion outside of the water and you will do better with something else. Thinking of recording a vlog in your air-conditioned house or something in the early evening? Forget it! This camera will overheat or record a black abyss.If I cannot get a refund for this, and let's face it, Bolo will probably not refund me, then I'm going to have to sell it at a rock-bottom discount. Excelente producto y excelente vendedor. Llegó a tiempo, el paquete venía excepcionalmente empaquetado, se tomaron en serio la protección y se agradece mucho, considero que si encuentran este kit, como en mi caso, en menos de $ 8,500 MXN, vale mucho la pena. La batería no dura tanto, pero la empuñadura al funcionar como power bank ayuda bastante. Sí sugeriría considerar comprar una batería adicional de respaldo.

Ya antes tenía otro producto del gopro (Hero+) y el salto de funcionalidades y tecnología es bastante. Me gustó que esta versión de Creator Edition el bastón tiene una batería que ayuda a que la duración sea al doble o más (me falta probarla más tiempo). La luz aunque es pequeña alumbra bien para una persona. Lo único que si observe pero no me ha provocado falla es que se calienta algo la carcaza. De lo demás la veo muy bien.

I have been through 4 action cameras all returned in the last 5 months and I'm telling you, don't cheap out and listen to sponsored YouTube videos of other brands because the Go Pro line is the only way to go. Build quality and performance shine over the competition. Multiple settings to tune your Go Pro to your liking and especially the linear feature keeping everything on plain. Just so happy I picked Go Pro over the other major brands. And yes this was a review on the creator pack which also saved on having to buy a gimbal for that extra stability. Long battery life and tons of OEM accessories to make your creativities endless..

You might as well buy a used cell phone and record on that, because at least it won't overheat and it will probably capture low-light content adequately. The GoPro, however fails on nearly every task. Don't rely on this to record your important moments!

Excelente producto y excelente vendedor. Llegó a tiempo, el paquete venía excepcionalmente empaquetado, se tomaron en serio la protección y se agradece mucho, considero que si encuentran este kit, como en mi caso, en menos de $ 8,500 MXN, vale mucho la pena. La batería no dura tanto, pero la empuñadura al funcionar como power bank ayuda bastante. Sí sugeriría considerar comprar una batería adicional de respaldo.

Ya antes tenía otro producto del gopro (Hero+) y el salto de funcionalidades y tecnología es bastante. Me gustó que esta versión de Creator Edition el bastón tiene una batería que ayuda a que la duración sea al doble o más (me falta probarla más tiempo). La luz aunque es pequeña alumbra bien para una persona. Lo único que si observe pero no me ha provocado falla es que se calienta algo la carcaza. De lo demás la veo muy bien.

I have been through 4 action cameras all returned in the last 5 months and I'm telling you, don't cheap out and listen to sponsored YouTube videos of other brands because the Go Pro line is the only way to go. Build quality and performance shine over the competition. Multiple settings to tune your Go Pro to your liking and especially the linear feature keeping everything on plain. Just so happy I picked Go Pro over the other major brands. And yes this was a review on the creator pack which also saved on having to buy a gimbal for that extra stability. Long battery life and tons of OEM accessories to make your creativities endless..
