This is a great product! Nicely made, comes with 3 metal plates that you can stick to any flat non-ferrus surface so the base can stick as intended. Bonus, it comes with a nice low-profile ring that would probably work in 98% of the non-apple mag cases.

I had to modify the metal ring that they sent with it for my iphone.. I have a case on my iphone and the magnet did not have enough magnetism to connect through the case so I had to add the metal ring that was sent to the back of my phone. had to sand and cut ring to fit case. Not the best magnet for phone with case.

So happy with this purchase. Magnet feels very strong and secure. Ball joint is also very strong but easy to position to the desired angle. I'm glad I didn't get an alternative version, especially those models that have an adjustable nut to lock the ball joint. This is much better and feels very durable and secure
