But, the plastic set does not need to be driven into our often compacted or frozen soil. It is not the end of the world if he leaves it out in the rain. It is fast to set it up and play. It was a great inexpensive way to try cricket, which it turns out we really enjoy. It is way easier to modify cricket to play a quick game with a few family members than to modify baseball. Although I bemoan more plastic that will eventually get landfilled, in this case it might be worth it. This set is pretty durable, so it should last us a while.

Overseas packages are always tricky - I got this item fairly close to the original expected arrival date (only three days later) - This was a pleasant surprise! My kids thoroughly enjoy this product - perfect size (5) for my 10 year old and a little too big for my younger guys (which is fine). Everything included in this set is very durable; which is highly welcomed from someone with 4 boys... I will be purchasing another set. Thank you!
