Man, I couldn't be happier with this cage! I tried out my friend's small rig, and while it's good, there's just something premium about Tilta that drew me to it. After two shoots with this cage, I can confidently say I have no complaints.Initially, putting on the cage was a bit tricky because the screws didn't want to cooperate with the threads. However, a few changes to my setup allowed me to get the cage securely fit. The bottom metal triangle flat coin is incredibly useful for attaching baseplates when I don't have my Leatherman handy.I found the cold shoe on the left particularly handy as it fits my DJI Lidar perfectly and fits snugly next to the XLR top handle that comes with the FX3. Although the HDMI attachment for securing cords doesn't feel that useful, since right-angle HDMI cords are practically useless and anything else feels awkward sticking out of the camera, I just leave it at home.One standout feature is how well it worked with the Tilta knuckle strap, enhancing the security of the camera to my hand—no more worrying about my grip failing me! Also, all the mountable screws on the camera make it perfect for using with snorricams, magic arms with clamps, and more. While the cage does add a tiny bit of weight, I wholeheartedly recommend this cage.

The media could not be loaded. I bought this camera cage based on how it looked and that wasn’t even the best thing about it. It is a full char, comes with cable management and a magnetic tool for tightening or removing the body mount screws; which it has 3 of to keep the camera super secure. I love items that have additional utility and this def has it. I do recommend to get the side hand harness. It’s soft and feels good in use and gives you way better camera control than using without. The top portion of the cage that says Tilta is removable and I use it removed most of the time since it doesn’t allow for clearance to use the native xlr top handle. I haven’t seen a cage I would rather have though I do like how small rig has a cold shoe mount mounted catty corner on the top. Would def recommend and since it’s so sturdy, don’t think I’ll need to buy again.

Tilta is a great company that produces highly polished, high-quality products. You cannot go wrong when choosing Tilta, and this cage for my FX3 and FX30 is no exception. I own one FX3 and two FX30 cameras, and I keep this cage on one of my FX30s as my run-and-gun rig. It is truly exceptional, and I could go on and on about its benefits, but many others have already written about them.What I want to highlight is the gorgeous, tremendously functional handle. Not only does it have a thumb release NATO feature, but it is also super ergonomic and beautifully designed.The price is a bit high, but I believe it's worth it if you are planning to run an FX3/30 setup for years to come.Highly recommended!

I made the choice to go all-Tilta for my Sony FX30 rig: cage/top handle/mini matte box— and I’m very satisfied with how all the components go together. Especially their cold shoe-slash-nato rail connection for the swivel top handle. It feels super secure, so one less thing to worry about. The cage is lightweight but solidly build, and the built-in arca swiss mount on bottom pairs well with my gimbal mount.

Not bad, it’s not much heavier after putting it on, I feel like the weight hasn’t changed much, and the gray one is much cooler than the black one.

I've ordered (and returned) 3 of these and they always arrived damaged/scraped. Great cage but super annoying quality control issues on an item this expensive

It's a great looking cage that add so many potential mountable options to it! I often switch between vertical and horizontal shooting while mounting the camera on my tripod and with this cage I am ableinstall a manfroto round quick plate on the bottom and side of the cage for easy interchangeability.The cage itself also adds weight to the camera which is good for when you want to do a lot of handheld shots and want smoother panning. And finally, the cage doesn't cover up the front tally lights that other cages seem to cover up, so there's also that.I highly recommend Tilta!

El producto en general está muy bien, la calidad de los materiales es muy buena lo único que no me gusto mucho fue el precio de me hizo caro pero comparando otras opciones es la mejor opción que encontré, armarlo es un poco confuso al principio (mínimo para mi lo fue) otra cosa es que las varillas de delfault son algo pequeñas por lo que compre otras más grande pero todo las allá es un 10/10
