This is my second one. I love these.

The quality of this product is low. 2 months after I bought it, it is no longer air-tight and because of this it no longer makes soda water. A throwaway. It was OK when it worked, but 2 months is too little for ~30 dollars. I would not order it again, nor any similar soda makers made in the Far East. Go for a renown, solid brand, it'd cost more, but possibly last much longer.

Love this simple bottle design. Makes perfect carbonated water and sodas easily. Could not be easier -- only warning is to open the carbonator *slowly* after releasing the cartridge. Doesn't need detailed instructions - just follow the pictures. It's very intuitive.

The package does not come with CO2 cartridges. If you buy cartridges, make sure they are the correct size. I am still experimenting.

It does a great job of carbonating, so it gets two stars for that; but nowhere did it say "one-and-done" on the CO2 cartridge. Soda Streams charge many bottles. Paintball guns get more than one shot out of a small cartridge. This takes a full cartridge for just one, 1-liter bottle and those cartridges are about $1.00 each (and it's over-charged). I would have expected 3 to 5 fills. Nope; just one. I'm not sending it back because that would waste the balance of my CO2 cartridges, but I do NOT recommend it.
