My kids would spend every waking minute in their sand box if I let them. It’s such a fun toy but I do with it were bigger. It’s perfect for one child but small for two. It’s super functional because of the lid. We can just keep our toys in it and we know they’re safe overnight. It’s pretty durable because my kids have used it for a month now and it still looks brand new.

Kiddos absolutely love this sandbox. Great bang for your buck. Can fit 2 toddlers in it comfortably but a little small. We use it in our garage so we don’t have to worry about rain. The lid is screwed together so I don’t know how well that would keep water out. Sand also falls out through the bottom of the turtle where it comes together so that’s a little frustrating. My kids love it though.

Fine idea, terrible execution. The bottom comes in 4 pieces that are supposed to snap together, but the pieces don’t match up. We wrestled it for several minutes and tried every configuration, but it was only possible to get 3 pieces together. The 4th was always misaligned, leaving a big gap and making the whole thing unusable. Do not buy unless you’re willing to gamble on maybe getting one with the pieces all made the right way. We were not so fortunate.

Overall, this is a great sandbox. It holds up really well and fits about three bags of sand. Assembly was a little tricky, but manageable. It’s not very water-resistant—we had it out in the rain with the cover on, and some water still got in, so we ended up moving it under the porch. That said, it’s a solid, well-built product and perfect for outdoor play with a little extra care.

Why did you pick this product vs others?:Remembered this product from my children's childhood and loved the fact there was a cover to protect the sand. Initially "PawPaw" had a difficult time putting together but we tag teamed and it was seamless. We used two bags of 25lb sand to start and set it in place. Best part? My 18month grandson said "WOW" when he saw it - priceless

Was super excited to get this for my kiddo, but unfortunately the design of this sandbox did not allow the pieces to fit together and it was a little harder to put together than it should have been. Also, it is very small... the four "seats" don't make a lot of sense to me as maybe two kids can play in it and have just enough room. At the end of the day, it holds the sand and allows a kid to play in it. The lid did not fit on very securely either.

Cute design, very durable
Reliable sandpit for hours of delightful messy play
As a childminder, I purchased this item as sand-play is arguably one of the top 5 'musts' for fun, learning and development in early years. Initially I thought 'oh no, more plastic!' but after borrowing a friend's Little Tikes bouncy castle recently, I knew their products are tough and well made/designed. I have not been disappointed with this one. The pit holds plenty of sand, and this week legs have been buried, giving the authentic beach experience. There was enough comfortable space for a 5 and a 3 year old, and when the 1 yr old toddler joined there was a still a cosy - not cramped - feel about the play going on. Seats on the edge are a good idea, and serve the intended purpose. Yes, lid is a touch light and design could go a bit further to include clips of some description, but windy weather simply means that something will be put on top in the general tidying up process. HOWEVER, the best feature for me is that this sandpit allows water can practically be added into the mix! Sand and water go together like bread and butter - they are meant for each other. On our patio, water has been added to make rivers, moats, tides going in and tides going out, rock pools, mud pies and body covering. In no way could I imagine this going on with other sandpits on the Bolo list that only have an internal groundsheet or wood that needs to be treated annually (sorry, don't have time for that!). OK, water has to be drained away manually with cups and small containers, but hey - even I got carried away watching the sand and water making rivers and mini-lakes as I worked out how to fill each container-full with water... Very relaxing! Damp sand can then be dried off by leaving the lid off during the day (not the night due to cats etc). I have recommended this sandpit to parents I work with, and I recommend it to Bolo purchasers. Great value for money.

Good size, hell difficult to put together, clips do not allign that well, screw holes some are good some just trun, average quality. I do not recommend this product personally for what it cost!! Very disappointed and will keep an eye on this as it will be in a creche and used alot!!! 4 on 10 mark!!
