First of all....great packaging. Double wrapped in case of heat conditions while shipping.Not too hard or soft. So it is easy to apply.Great smell my skin feels great. I have 23 tattoos spanning a 50 year time period and even my old ones look great with this balm. And my newest one is healing great with this balm.

I’ve found that products marketed for tattoo care are nicely concentrated and often have far more benefits than just tattoo care, so I order them even though I have no tattoos. I’ve also found that even though the manufacturer calls it a balm or a cream or whatever else, I need to play with it myself to determine what it really is so I can put it to the best use. This one is more like something you’d put on your chapped lips, and so much so that I’m considering softening it so I can move it into a lipstick container. I’ve been using it on my lips, my hands, my elbows, and anywhere else that feels dry and cracked and wintery. I use my fingertip for my lips, and I cut into it like lard with my fingernail when I use it elsewhere. It melts quickly against the skin, and even though it’s very greasy upon application, it absorbs fast! It smells like a combination of coconut and mild (and maybe artificial) mango, but the scent isn’t overwhelming. The 4-ounce tub is full and I expect it to last a very long time. The price of around $20 is completely reasonable given just how many lip balm tubes I’d need to buy instead. Big fan, and I anticipate reordering.

I have a 15 year old tattoo and this does a nice job of making it pop a little bit. it's not making it look like a brand new tattoo, but nothing will. It feels a bit greasy at first but does absorb quickly. I dock it a few points because the scent is fairly strong, though not offensive to me. In general, I'd rather have less scent. It also works well on places like knuckles and elbows - places that get extra dry in the winter.

I care a lot about what I put on my skin, and it seemed to be using ingredients I can recognize!I love that it smells great, like sweet mango and it's like body butter.It was a little hard so had to press on it a bit hard to get it on my fingersIt definitely worked like tattoo balms I had in the past (which had unnecessary chemicals) and so I am so happy with this product. I REALLY love it and use it on my tattoos every few days.

I am reviewing the BodyJ4You Tattoo Aftercare BalmI have found tattoo blends to be a good way to deal with my easily damaged, excessively dry skin. This one is made with safe ingredients and smells wonderful. It takes a long while to absorb and it is most definitely greasy. The greasy film is obvious in the seller’s photos as well as my own. Just give it time to absorb fully before putting anything over it.The description states this product is a 4 ounce container. The seller’s images show both a 4 ounce label and a 2 ounce label. I received a container that has a 2 ounce label on the top and a 4 ounce label on the side. I am deducting one star for this because the description needs to be correct based on what is being sold.

This is a nice tattoo balm! I tried it on both an old and a new tattoo today and it felt very nourishing. It’s full of lots of great oils and butters that my skin loved and it soothed my week and half old tattoo that is still a bit on the sore side. It has a thick, but pliable consistency and massages in easily without any graininess. It says it contains “mango essence” which I assume is the fragrance, but it smells exactly like coconut and pineapple to me. Yum!
